辣徑酒店(The Spice Trail)

Werkelijk een prachtig hotel met grote en nette cabins waarin de airco goed en erg stil is. Het zwembad is schoon en lux. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het ligt in het midden van het uitgaansgebied van Arugam bay Ons verblijf hier was Top!!!!

Лучший завтрак в Аругамбэй! Приятная атмосфера, хорошая музыка, вкусный завтрак и кофе. Отдельного внимания стоит "handmade" цельнозерновой хлеб , самый вкусный хлеб, который пробовала на Шри Ланке 👍

Everything is excellent at this place. The pool, gardens and location are great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food was great and fresh. Staff are amazing. Genuinely happy and they all work really hard to keep you happy and the place tidy. We had a truly great time here and felt welcome. Wifi in the room was non existent (rooms 10 and 11) so that’s the only negative.

Absolutely beautiful. We have traveled trough Sri Lanka , this was the fifth hotel we visited, and none of the other hotels can be compared with this . The host is very welcoming and helpful with whatever you need . Very clean and big nice rooms with big shower . If u are traveling to arugam bay this is the place u want to book !

Incredible hospitality from Leo and the rest of the hotel staff. Very friendly and always willing to help. The property itself is outstanding. Beautiful pool, and nice, well kept trees and plants everywhere. Our room was very big, clean and spacious as well. Only a 2 minute walk from your room to the beach. Good food in the restaurant too. Highly recommend 10/10.

The venue was nice however when we came back from dinner around 9pm there was a frog in the bathroom. We tried to contact the owner about this but no answer which meant my wife couldn’t use the bathroom. After this I tried to go to reception but no-one was at the front desk and it was not even 10pm. The dogs then proceeded to bark loudly but no-one was around to pay attention. The frog entered our room which made it very difficult to sleep. Avoid this location at all costs if you don’t want frogs in your room. The bar was also closed for no apparent reason and the staff did not understand any dietary requirements. This whole experience has put us off Argaum Bay

Although this was quiet season and the rains were prevalent , The Spice Trail was a delight to stay at. The staff were all friendly and relaxed but attentive without being intrusive. Our favourite staff member was Marshall the meet and greet pooch. Our room was a little sanctuary and very spacious. The shower a treat. the food was yummy and although options were limited , I am sure in busier times it would be fabulous. Would definitely stay again when in Aragumbay . Thanks @Spice Trail. Great hospitality from all staff and great property. Rooms are very clean and the chef was exceptional in cooking Stewards took care of our toddler as she did not like the cats .staff was very responsive and helpfully On new year day there was some delicious food table which truly lifted our spirits and felt very warm and homely I would highly recommend this property to anyone

Spice Trail in Arugam Bay is super for surf lovers and nature fans. Super close to Arugambe Beach and not far from Kumana National Park, it's the perfect spot for a cool getaway. The place is super clean, and the staff who work there are really friendly. Can go into surfing, the beach is right there, ready for some awesome waves,. After riding the surf, can come back to a chill and cozy hotel. Spice Trail is close to Kumana National Park. Can take a tour and there is very high chance to spot a Sri Lanka leopards and some cool local wildlife. About the food – it's delicious! The restaurant has a bunch of tasty dishes with local flavors and as well as international dishes. ++ Hotel is perfect for families too, offering a well-maintained pool for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Spice Trail isn't just a regular hotel; it's like your surfing and nature dream come true, this place is a must-try! Highly recommended!
