Great hotel, but both the free and paid internet were shocking. Zero mobile/cell reception also so it's like staying in a tech black hole!

Stayed here 2 nights opted for the meal deal both nights (well worth it) Room was as expected clean , comfiest bed ever Restaurant was a nice setting for breakfast etc all the meals were enjoyable & one of the best Premier Inn breakfasts we've had Helen on reception was lovely The only niggle is .. as a smoker when I left husband in the room watching tv , I needed the key card to get through a couple of doors (2 cards would be helpful)

I checked the prices for the Ashington branch well QE2 before going over then went over to be told I cant have the prices online my phone wasn't able to connect online to for the same deal, I had young kids and was trying to get away from a situation at home, when I said I couldn't pay that as I need money for my kids I was sent away basically told stuff, I was also told my bags were a fire hazard I moved them abit I'm disabled so did the best I could then told their a fire hazard again I've cried myself to sleep and had to the we weren't safe, thank you for reminding me that speaking hell is a stupid idea

Visited here during a warm spell recently and couldn’t wait to leave. Plenty of free parking and the setting is lovely in the country park. The room was very tired and extremely warm during the night. No air con and the window only opened an inch so couldn’t get any air into the room. Absolutely roasting. Pub next door was very average. Plenty of better Premier Inns nearby.

We've only ever been to the attached Cookhouse and pub before, but this time stayed at the inn as well. It's a typical Premier Inn. The room was pleasant and quiet. There's plenty of free parking and it's set within a country park so has a pleasant outlook and something to do in the evening. Next door is a Cookhouse and Pub for food. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Well lets start. The Room was to warm no opening window and the air-conditioning was not very good at all. Evening meal was not very good loot warm and greasy. Also very slow service. Up side after not sleeping most of the night was the breakfast was pretty good.

No good wifi signal No cell signal No Prosecco mini at the bar No fish pie No hot dogs No decent craft beer / ipa No fresh decaf coffee at the bar, just instant. And a 1 hour wait for food, even it’s not busy Nobody cleans the floor in restaurant Outside kids area looks permanently out of action 1 Good point. The indoor kids area.

Lovely hotel, lovely location and friendly staff. Bedrooms spotless, the lake outside the hotel is so pretty and couldn’t have been a nicer stay

Location is amazing, view of lake from attached restaurant and room. Atmosphere was so friendly in both hotel and restaurant, they could not do enough for you. Rooms are good sized and laid out really well, with en suite bathrooms which are really clean. Value is fantastic and really worth the price. Meal deals in restaurant are worth it when you see what you get for your money. Noise levels are good, we didn't hear much inside our room from inside or outside hotel. The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of area. Very big car park outside with loads of room.

Group of 30 visited today 19 adults and 11 children ,we were given a back room all to ourselves which was ideal and also carvery was enjoyed by everyone ,excellent value and piping hot,manager brought sweets in for the kids which was a good touch,also it was a good place to visit with the lake outside and loads for the kids inside ,already thinking of going back as a group again ,thanks for the hospitality.

Lovely stay beds the best quality mattresses make all the difference room Lovely... only thing missing was mini fridge which is a must for us

We stayed for 4 nights in November. Check out in was easy and staff were friendly. We requested a ground floor room not too far from the reception area. Our allocated room was at the back of the hotel adjacent to the A road, whilst we could hear the traffic noise it did not disturb our sleep. Room was fine and up to the usual Premier inn standard. For security reasons the window would only open 2 inches and as the air conditioning was restricted not to go below 19 degrees ,the room could get a bit stuffy. It wasn’t a big issue but could be during the warmer weather. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring along the coast and inland. Morpeth was our favourite place that we visited. Amble,New biggin on the sea, Alnwick ,Walkworth and Alnmouth are also worth a visit.

The team at this hotel are truly amazing! From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Amanda was so friendly and her attention to detail and genuine care really stood out — it’s clear that all staff take great pride in what they do. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for outstanding service and a memorable experience.

Great stay for my business trip to the north east. Reception staff friendly and helpful on arrival. Rooms clean and fresh and for a change the shower heads were pristine definitely recommend if you need to stay in the north east.
