Decent size fridge, microwave, jug and toaster in a kitchenette. Parking out the front of unit. We had no TV access as we were told the previous customers of our room had stolen the Wifi Memory Stick & Remote Control from the television & we couldn't control without (motel did not have spares for their 18 units). When we expressed disappointment at not having a TV to watch the NRL women's Maroons vs Blues match in Townsville, the Manager said he didn't get to watch it either! (but as we paid for the room we should have been entitled to watch it from the comfort of our motel room!). When I first walked in I couldn't believe how grotty the older carpets looked, apparently also from the previous people (and the chairs & lounge also need a good steam clean). We were told that cleaners had taken 3 hours to clean & the Police had been involved & we should have seen the room before the cleaners came in (just what we wanted to hear after paying full price!). My husband had to clean the aircon filter. Our room was very tired looking (as were we when we arrived early evening), the room not what we were expecting from the previous reviews & photos. You are charged your credit card fee for payment by the motel at check-in (rather than in your online payment when booking). A lot of condensation in the room, even with the bathroom window & door open, as no exhaust fan. Front glass sliding door, but no fly screen door. Beds with just sheets, quilts without covers in the wardrobe.

Whilst property needs a fair bit of maintenance and updating it was clean and perfect for our needs. Fellow at reception lovely.

This would have to be one of the worst motels I have stayed in. The location was dreadful being on Gympie Road, but also they had some makeshift construction fencing up and it was difficult to get near your room. The Management made themselves scarce, you had to phone them when you got there even though it was about 3.30pm in the afternoon and then they came down out of nowhere told you you what room you were in and just as quickly slid off, before you could ask for some milk etc. they had a couple of tiny little UHT Milk things (not the 150ml) which was useless for a cuppa. The noise of Gympie Road was dreadful there was no ground area you could walk around as it was all fenced off. The overhead bedlights, were half off the wall and did not work, ours had a kitchenette in it, with 3 odd plates, 2 plastic badly crazed bowls and 3 knives spoons and forks and a couple of teaspoons, lucky I had my picnic set with me, because the motel crockery and cutlery looked very suss. The only thing going for it was the comfortable bed, although very soft. The curtains were just hanging there, threadbare mismatched.

Says a pool. No water. Door doesn't lock properly from inside. Many more things that are not coming to mind atm but can say it was clean. BUT won't be back.

The only positive I have about this place is that the staff were friendly at check-in. From there it went downhill. The glass sliding door to the room was extremely hard to lock, took minutes every single time to try and open or lock once inside. The rooms were in a very rough state, damaged walls, peeling paint, mold on the ceilings, ripped and filth curtain in the bathroom, marked and damaged shower curtain (the fact that motels are still even using these things should be illegal) and carpet that I was afraid to walk on barefoot. Aircon didn’t keep the room cool no matter how low the temp was and it made the room smell damp. Would definitely avoid this place. I only stayed 2 nights and that was 2 too many.

Disgusting conditions. We were greeted by a dirty glass sliding door and from there it went down hill. Carpets in night clubs are cleaner. Drinking glasses were grubby, fridge unclean, walls stained and peeling. Rubbish bins not emptied, ***** hairs on the toilet seats and no fresh towels; in fact there was an old towel hanging behind the bathroom door. Do NOT book here!
