The hotel as a whole is a beautiful place in a wonderful location. The first impression was great. Friendly and welcoming check-in. However, once details come up and they are not resolved, it becomes annoying. Rooms lack basic amenities like tissues, cotton buds, cotton pads, nail file (amenities that are standard in a 5 star hotel). The same room types, which cost exactly the same per night, differ in the amenities that are available in some and not in others. We have 3 rooms of the same category. For example, there is full body mirror in room 203. But a mirror in room 202. (Same room type.) There is a long full-length mirror in 203 and 103 and there is none in 202. There is also a coffee maker in 202 but not in the other 2 rooms.. these are small insignificant details. The biggest problem is not the lack of amenities but the lack of attention because there is not enough staff. It's really a ”one man show”.... In the F&B areas. At the reception... no one answers the phone when you need reception and the coffee at breakfast only comes after breakfast has already been served... feel sorry for the poor staff, they are overworked. However when you need something done in the room... you can call and call, they might apologise but no other solution is given other than a room move. Which on a holiday is not very practical. The bathroom blinds in room 202 are damaged, no one even tries to fix it. In room 203 the windows do not open (faulty) maintenance does not check the condition... only solution is a room move... it would be nice for at least a gesture of finding a solution... I hope the people in charge read this because the place is beautiful, it has a lot of potential and it would be nice if other future guests could enjoy it and not be annoyed by small details that add up and become a burden during the stay.

我們在這裏住了一晚。酒店由著名建築師卡拉特拉瓦設計,從外面給人留下了深刻的印象。房間很大,牀和枕頭很舒服。服務友好而高效。價格包含驚人的早餐。外面的結構顯示出磨損的跡象,可以觸摸到。房間本身有一些磨損的跡象,但沒有影響我們的住宿。

Barcelo Oviedo Cervantes exceeded our expectations, even with its strong reviews. The location, the size and layout of the rooms (especially given its affordability), and particularly the staff, made this a perfect choice for us. Oviedo is a lovely town and we could walk everywhere, which was great. If we come back, we would definitely stay here again. I cannot say enough about Alberto at the front desk. Just a lovely person who went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect, including making sure we could watch Spain play in the EuroCup semis. He was wonderful!

We booked this hotel due to its location not far from Real Oviedo football ground. We visited Oviedo for my son’s birthday and to go to football match. Room was triple deluxe room which was large enough for the 3 of us. Bathroom was large and more than adequate. Shower very powerful. Toiletries included, including toothpaste and toothbrushes. Beds were comfortable and wardrobe large enough for what we needed. Cafe in the hotel was nice and very reasonably priced. Staff in cafe and on reception were lovely Downside - air conditioning did not work in room and when I spoke to reception they said that it had been turned on - it seems that this is centrally controlled and even though we turned room temperature down to 16 and turned fan high, we could not get the air conditioning to work which meant the room was far too hot and I slept approx 8 hours over 3 nights due to the heat. Another issue was we were shocked to discover there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room - we have never been to a hotel that did not provide tea and coffee and we found this a huge let down

Hemos estado alojados de sábado a domingo. En la habitación sólo estuvimos a la hora de ir a dormir sobre la 1.30 de la mañana, momento en el que percibimos un fuerte olor a tabaco que provenía tanto de almohadas como de sábanas, así como una mancha de ceniza en la sábana bajera. Por la mañana le comunico el problema a la chica de recepción, que me dice que tendríamos que haber dicho algo a la 1.30 de la mañana y se nos habría cambiado de habitación, a lo que yo contesté que desconocía que eso se podía hacer a esas horas intempestivas. Al lo haber ningún responsable la única solución es no cobrar el parking, y me dicen que si mando la foto de la sábana alguien se pondrá en contacto conmigo para darme una solución a mayores. Nadie se pone en contacto y vuelvo a insistir y la respuesta que se me da por parte de gerencia es que no hay solución que dar ya. Hemos pagado por una habitación que no estaba en condiciones. Vaya servicio de limpieza. Y vaya forma de dejar contentos a los clientes. Ya sé a dónde no volveremos cuando vayamos a Oviedo. Tampoco al sercotel ciudad de Oviedo, que es lo mismo.

-stayed here for two nights for business purposes -the hotel is very central and you can walk to the city center and all restaurants nearby -the personnel is kind and nice -the gym needs investments, if you like working out on your business trips you won’t be happy with the equipment, a bit of age (I did a 30mins ride on the station bike and that could be exchanged to a new one for example) -breakfast is good and they serve some typical food from the region -bed is comfortable, the walls seem light as I could hear people in neighboring rooms

Uno de los peores hoteles que he estado,personal muy desagradable,no hay menú infantil, desayuno muy pobre,se nos abrió la ventana de madrugada y no se cerraba,no había aire acondicionado,mucho calor,casi no dormimos,pulsador de WC roto,.muy caro,no se merece ni dos estrellas.No ir a este hotel.
