雅典安心居酒店(Safestay Athens Monastiraki)

The accommodation itself is OK if you're staying for a night or two, the rooms have AC and a bathroom. The internet connection is subpar. However, DO NOT BUY BREAKFAST - it's not worth the price in any way, shape or form. The choices are few and poor. There is no regular bread (just toast bread), jam is in those tiny plastic containers you buy in bulk, the watermelon is warm, there's no butter (just margarine), no eggs. See photo. Also if you're here by car, the hotel doesn't offer any parking space. The nearest parking is 5 minutes away and is priced at 20 € a night.

Hostel idéalement situé, près d'une station de métro qui dessert l'aéroport. Nous étions dans une chambre avec un lit superposé. Très propre, chambre et salle de bains fonctionnels, climatisation. Gros plus: présence d'un rooftop qui permet de prendre le petit-déjeuner avec vue imprenable sur l'Acropole. Soirées au rooftop tous les soirs, mais nous n'étions jamais dérangés par le bruit. Personnel vraiment sympathique et aidant. Présence d'un service de nettoyage et séchage de linge, vraiment pratique. Seul petit bémol: pas de petit frigo dans la chambre, ni de télé (pas grave). Mais la convivialité du lieu donne vraiment envie de revenir

地下鉄Monastiraki駅から徒歩数分、空港からは乗り換えなし、アテネ駅からも１回の乗り換えで来られます。 ８ベッドのドミトリーに宿泊。部屋内にシャワーとトイレあり。部屋の中は空気がよどんでいたので、観光の休憩はロビーがおススメ。 朝食は追加料金によるオプション。夜の時間帯に利用できる1shot券（ビールを1杯飲めるようですが利用してないので詳細不明）が貰えます。 屋上からはアクロポリスが見られます。夜の時間帯はにぎわっており、朝食もこちらになるようです。 こちらとは直接関係ないですが、すぐ隣の個人経営のようなスーパーは水1.5Lで１ユーロ取られた（値札なし、ぼったくりの可能性あり）ので、利用せず、値札のついているスーパ利用をお勧めします。

I stayed in a private room with a balcony for 3 nights solo. I was arrive at ~3am from the airport so I wanted somewhere that felt safe. The street was very well lit and there is a 24 hour reception. The room was great, had aircon that worked well and an ensuite. The hostel bar has a nice view of the acropolis although when I was there the bar was pretty empty. Great location though to all the archeology sites as well as safe walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Never had to walk longer than 15 minutes to get anywhere.

We wanted to go to a roof top bar in Athens that was suitable for a family and not too pretentious or expensive. The Safestay roof top bar was just perfect for us. Super friendly staff, great food and an incredible view of not just The Acropolis but the sunset side too. A real gem.

Very near to metro station, walkable to main attractions in Athens and staff are very helpful. However, the room with attached bath that we stayed in across from the main building was fitted with a king size bed, that occupied practically all the space, leaving minimal room for movement; 2 very small bedside tables, and we had to constantly re position a folding chair that we used to sit on & which doubled up as luggage holder. The bathroom was clean, but the shower basin was too shallow & the shower curtain too short, resulting in water overflowing onto the bathroom floor and into the room, every time we showered. There was a small safe in the room, within a wardrobe, but it is very old and unreliable. Housekeeping sometimes opens the windows and leaves them open to air, but forgets to close them, resulting in the aircon not working unless you close the windows again.

They allow refugees and homeless people to stay in. Regardless of the multiple complaints they keep them in to collect 12 euros a night the change they make the homeless by begging in the nearby streets. There is a creepy short barman from Cyprus in his late 30s who is preying on younger female backpackers and often he groups with his friends to harass and intimidate. There is a negative vibe and most of the genuine travellers they are choosing to leave earlier. The hostel is seriously underperforming because the manager of the hostel is ignoring the complaints and employs friends and family with catastrophic results. Safestay is an English company but they have no representative at all and no control over what is happening at the greek branch.

Puntos positivos: ubicación, aire acondicionado y sabanas limpias. Puntos negativos: todo lo demás. Nada más entrar a nuestra habitación a pie de calle un olor a tabaco que emana de las cortinas tumba a cualquiera. A pie de calle quiere decir que oyes a todo el mundo que pasa por la acera como si estuviera en la habitación. Las motos, coches y camiones parece que te van a pasar por encima. La ducha un espectáculo. Tiene una cortina decorativa que te llega a la altura de las pantorrillas por la que sale el agua disparada por el baño y por la habitación. Inundación del baño y habitación constantemente. No se os ocurra dejar nada en el suelo... Electricidad: solo funciona la luz del baño y una de las lamparas de la mesita.

The place was clean , super quiet , everything was amazing and on top of that with an amazing rooftop view and bar! It was an amazing night of sleep, located less than two minutes from the train station in a very nice place , loved it would 100% come back
