The food was exceptional, with generous portions. Special praise for the chef and waiter Sam Collins, who provided welcoming service. The resort is perfect for families, with enjoyable activities like swimming and a playground for kids. The swimming pool attendant was so great with the kids. The facility was very clean and well-maintained The main area for improvement is the Wi-Fi access, as there was none in the rooms, making it inconvenient for guests. Access was limited to the restaurant. Despite the Wi-Fi issue, the experience was highly enjoyable, and there's a strong interest in returning.

A good getaway. We love swmimg here and having lunch. The drinks and food prices are a bit high and the portions can get outrageously small. The juice and milkshakes are so diluted and price, not value for money at all. The ambience in the hot areas is amazing!

This is why I love Kenya 🇰🇪 🫶. Hidden gems like this are my go to place. The lodge stands in Lukenya, AthiRiver (33Kms from Nairobi) on an idyllic spot with mesmerizing view of the plains and encircling range of hills. Our Saturday at The Last Village was perfect. There are enough activities for the entire family. No one gets left behind. The resort is remarkably clean and very well maintained and the staffs are very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious ( I swear the Mukimo and Mbuzi Choma get better each and every time ) 😋.

Excellent food though the variety was limited. You can do better. Rooms were very horrible. No hot water despite many calls to reception. The staff are not transparent to admit they water heating system is faulty. Customer service is average. Not value for money

The food was awesome and very tasty the portions were also good,food was prepared by Chef Kevin kibet,our waiter Lui was so dedicated,the swimming pool attendant was soo great with the kids,my son says he had the best birthday party. Awesome

The kids really enjoyed the outdoor activities and our waiter (Isaac) made our dining experience memorable. The palm Trees provided a coastal feel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The seating areas at the balconies provided good relaxing space.

Great hospitality from entrance askari to our waiter Tonny who welcomed us very friendly and helpful More over we were sitting near the pool drinks on time and very attentive on order taking Sure all be back

I booked weeks before my arrival with my family & yet we got settled after 6 hrs we had small kids & they dint give a damn about them The place had issues with lights & water especially in the evenings & morning hrs. Plus horrible wifi & staff had no clue on what was expected of them interms of marketing

My first experience to this place on Christmas day was horrible to say the least. I had been referred by a friend to visit the place due to the number of entertainment activities for the children. To my disbelief, the distance from Mombasa rd to the place is 15kms of bad road. When we finally reached the place after an hour 15 minutes’ drive on the bad road, we were unfortunately told that we cannot get in because it was we hadn’t made reservations. The security guys were very uncooperative and didn’t even want to understand that we had kids and had come a long way to the place. We requested if we can have something at least for the kids then we head back home we head back home but they refused. Some people even requested to buy soda or water to quench their thirst because it was a long way back and there were shops nearby but they refused. It was only after demanding to the speak to a certain My Onyiengo that he gave them permission to let us in. As we were waiting for his response, I counted almost like 10 vehicles which were turned after going through that treacherous road. Despite the high number of guests, some of the waiters seemed overwhelmed/not willing to serve us. We were eventually served by a lady called Mary Faith who was quite helpful and remorseful of our ordeal (This was the only positive for me). Unfortunately we had to leave without the having kids enjoying any of the activities we expected them to. The place looked nice but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t dream of going back of recommending anyone to visit the place.

Amazing staff, service was great and the food to die for! We really enjoyed ourselves.. We're definitely coming back and recommending the lodge to our family and friends. Great activities, the pool was pristine ..

The place is full of love and life, the manager Lawrence Onyiengo really relates well with the colleagues and guests. A hotelier by nature The environment is clean and serene, The food is made with love and portions generous, How i wish i could tip all who attended to us some more but we will be back soon with friends shout out to Emily, Lawrence, Lillian, the Indian cuisine chef and chef Kevin. I saw some guests being rude to LAWRENCE but he carried himself out with decorum

Peaciful get-away from Nairobi. We stayed here for two nights to have a rest after our flight upon arrival in Kenya. Great place to relax within a relatively close distance from the city. Beautiful, spacious gardens, quality food, nice pool and playground for the kids and great service.

We went to Last Village with 3 Dutch families with in total 15 people. It was a very pleasant stay after a long day of travelling from the Netherlands. We went to Last Village to relax 3 days.The kids were swimming and playing and swimming all day. The food was excellent en the staff was very very friendly!! We would defenately come back one day 😀

In agreement with review below I had a terrible Christmas day. Over priced menu, bad roads, crowding, no empathy from the hotel. The hotel requested we do a non refundable down payment before, a trick I think was placed so that we don't go back. The plata couldn't fit out family, getting tea or coffee was unavailable. I would not want to go back. Not anytime soon.
