大龐森比藝術酒店民宿(The Great Ponsonby Arthotel)

Along with Parnell, Ponsonby is our favourite place to stay in Auckland. We stayed at the Great Ponsonby Art Hotel again this year and have no regrets. We always enjoy returning here. Parking is no problem in the hotel grounds or on the street. The small, beautifully furnished hotel offers the kind of hospitality we like most: the staff are attentive and very friendly. The service has been just perfect. This time there were three of us travelling together and we booked the penthouse room and one of the three pavilions behind the house. The balcony and garden are perfect for enjoying an aperitif or a take-away menu. If you're lucky, the odd bird will pay you a visit - this time a kingfisher was a special guest. The rooms are clean and pleasantly large. The pavilions are outfitted with new bath rooms. The cooked breakfast is a dream, just like in the good old days when there were many more B&Bs in New Zealand than there are today. Ponsonby Street has a great selection of restaurants and there is something to suit almost every palate. We were never disappointed. And last but not least Ponsonby is perfectly located for a stroll to the CBD and many sights as the Auckland Museum or the Auckland Art Gallery. We shall return.

Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Wlan funktioniert einwandfrei, es hat Kaffee - und Teezubehör im Zimmer. Direkt vor dem Hotel hat es Parkplätze. Sehr leckeres Frühstück, welches auch individuell bestellt werden kann. Ich wunderte mich darüber warum das Duschmittel und Shampoo zum Verkauf angeboten wird. Nach deren Benutzung war es mir sofort klar: Grossartige Produkte!

Hôtel b&b découvert dans le cadre du circuit confidentiel nouvelle Zélande de la française des circuits, hôtel sympathique bien situé, à peine à 2 km du centre (attention aux rues pentues de Auckland pour revenir) et à 4km de l’éden park, la chambre était un peu petite pour placer les valises mais bien équipée, très bon petit déjeuner Juste une remarque, il faut arriver après 7h pour l’arrivée, or nous sommes arrivés à 6h30 et nous avons dû patienter, venant de France après un voyage de 30h, il me Semble que l’accueil dans ce cas précis devrait être amélioré pour accéder aux chambres sans attendre

This bed and breakfast is wonderful. Centrally located, great amenities, delicious and filling breakfast. We stayed in the penthouse, but returned to stay in the garden when our accommodations didn't work out for our last night. I'd stay here again!

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. Good distance to all the local shops and restaurants. One complimentary drink each day which I think was a lovely touch. Highly recommended

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. Location was fab - Ponsonby shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance and an Uber to Spark Arena only cost $10. Would definitely recommend for a cute boutique stay in the city

As we were new to Auckland, it turned out that we loved Ponsonby the best and that this hotel is perfectly situated in this neighbourhood. Our energetic and friendly host Patrick showed us around. The whole place is a bit quirky and artsy but that is also how it is advertised. We were staying at the villa room, which was a spacious (maybe the most spacious) room just across the main building. Although we were out and about most of the time, we had a good stay here. Breakfast was very nice and in a calm atmosphere. Patrick and his co-worker in the kitchen took good care of us.

Great hidden gem - super friendly staff & awesome atmosphere. Our room (penthouse) had absolutely everything we needed and more. Great restaurants nearby and not a bad walk to the city/art gallery. We will definitely be back
