懷希基水濱旅館(Waiheke Waterfront Lodge)

This place has much more the feel of a B&B than a hotel; much more welcoming, personal and homey. It’s an easy 12-15 minute walk into the village. The room was extremely quiet and faced the ocean (photo - I believe that’s true of every room). Andy picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off, and Pip makes a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Our king bed was quite comfortable. My only concern would be on a very muggy night - there is no A/C, just a ceiling fan. Great stay.

This place is wonderful, Pip and Andy make it even better! From the welcome, to the views, the wine, and the food, everything is perfectly done. Pip fixes a breakfast straight from a gourmet kitchen. Andy is a great host and guide, and has set the standard for garage gym amenities and views. The available bicycles open a whole new option to see the island. We hope to come back again someday, it’s amazing!

We booked our room as we got on the ferry and called the car service at the lodge for the free ride to the lodge. Andy was at the ferry when we arrived from Auckland. Wonderful. Our room was perfect with a view of Black Pool Bay. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Other guest we spoke with felt the same. Breakfast was wonderful and free! We can’t say enough good things about the lodge.

What a wonderful place! Andy and Pip are superb hosts. The rooms are beautiful - huge and light and airy with all sorts of thoughtful touches. The breakfasts were delicious with great fresh fruit and hot dishes. A fabulous start to our New Zealand adventure and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Can’t say much more than what all the other reviewers have said. Andy and Pip are wonderful and charming and make every effort to make sure your visit is superb. They have every amenity you could want to enjoy Waiheke on land and water. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful and Andy is a superb barista. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated with a magnificent water view. A perfect start to our New Zealand adventure!

the hosts Pip and Andy were lovely and they made everything just perfect. We rented their car and explored the island based on their recommendations, no hassle at all. we had a lovely sea view and the nearby restaurants were excellent. There is a curated, residential feeling to the property that gives it a very intimate quality. They picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry and their breakfast presentation was top notched. Wonderful experience. Plus they are zero carbon sustainable - a bonus.

Exquisite stay at the Waterfront Lodge! Pip, Andy, & Maureen were such lovely hosts and made incredible multi course breakfasts each day with local produce and spreads. The property is stunning, extremely clean and very safe. The property has a very boutique/personal feel and I believe only has 5 rooms, which is perfect if you're looking for a relaxing stay on Waiheke. We appreciated all the little touches (like the snacks, barista coffee, transportation to and from the ferry by Andy, and extremely comfortable bed). 5 Star service!! We can't wait to visit again.

Can’t say enough great things about Pip and Andy (the owners). They were so friendly and attentive and made our short stay memorable. The breakfast was terrific and the location is just seconds away from an amazing walking trail. We loved staying here.

My wife and I stayed at Waiheke Waterfront Lodge for the first stop on our honeymoon in New Zealand on 4/6-4/7/23. Andy and Pip were wonderful hosts, and their property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located on a quiet street with a stunning ocean view. They were very helpful and generous in recommending activities and making sure that our stay was a special one. We weren't expecting much of the breakfast, but it was truly delicious on both mornings of our stay. The coffee was great, too. Get the flat white! Highly recommended!!
