5 stars for everything! What a great boutique hotel in a charming neighborhood of Auckland! The staff was so welcoming, quickly got us into a room, and shared all the amenities of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, with the most comfortable bed. We slept so hard. Loved having some drinks available in the room, and access to the afternoon bar/canapes. Breakfast delivered to the room was delicious! Make sure you place your order earlier the day before, as you need to pick a time slot. We loved the neighborhood. Great eateries, cafes, and shopping all in walking distance.

Arrived from Australia to be welcomed by extremely professional and helpful staff. Our room was quality. Excellent furnishings, beautiful bathroom with complimentary drinks and nibbles. Enjoyed pre dinner drinks and food in the library. Breakfast was amazing served on the balcony. An exquisite property with wonderful staff, so glad we stayed. Thank you

This has possibly been one of the most wonderful hotels we stayed at. It was just what we needed. The rooms are so comfortable, large, and beautiful. The little touches like complementary snacks and drinks added to the comfort. The building is beautiful! And to top it off, the staff is amazing! The complimentary breakfasts were amazing! So filling and fresh and couldn’t have been better. As if that wasn’t enough, the complementary hors d’oeuvres and drinks in the evenings were wonderful!! if I ever come back to Auckland, I’m staying here for sure!

Rooms are optimized to provide a feeling of modern luxury in a historical building. The bed was really comfortable, with a delicious breakfast served in the room on demand. 
I personally enjoyed the chats with the host during the time in the library, with some excellent local wine and snacks. The location is just perfect, if you like a cool neighborhood and still very well connected to the CBD. Gladly again at any time.

Stunning boutique hotel with amazing service. Delicious daily breakfast and afternoon snacks with wine. Loved everything about this hotel and highly recommend it to people who are interested in something a little bit different. Location within walking distance to fab shops and restaurants.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Fitzroy! From the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff to the luxurious room accommodations, this quaint hotel is a must-stay for anyone wanting to stay just outside of the main city center. They are located just down the road from great shopping and dining options and are a short drive to the city center. I thought parking would be an issue since it is street parking with time limits, but there are plenty of spaces and you can ask for a permit should you need to park longer. They offer a plethora of complimentary amenities and just generally take amazing care of their guests. I honestly can’t say enough good things to say about the hotel and staff. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Really clean rooms ample free bottled water and in room treats. Breakfast in bed (and it’s really good). They have canapés and drinks. Comfortable beds and pillows. My only thing is there is a big cologne smell and the soap is cologne. It isn’t bad cologne, but as a female the soap wasn’t for me. The room was a bit tight with luggage.

Stayed for two nights recently with a group of friends and had a fabulous time. The service is friendly and attentive. The rooms are well appointed and luxe and the additional free drinks and canapés is a nice touch. The free breakfast on both mornings was delicious. We plan to return in a few months to enjoy it all again.
