Kasa 2nd街奧斯汀(Kasa 2nd Street Austin)

Noise. Lots and lots of construction in the next-door unit starting at 8AM. The garage entry gate didn’t work. Kasa communications are slow and unhelpful. No outlet at the nightstand. Cannot turn off ceiling light in living room. Front door looked like it had been physically broken into. Staff is patronizing and mostly unhelpful. Don’t check out one minute late or housekeeping will report you and staff will threaten you with extra charges. Kasa is just not an accommodating hosting company. Not ready for prime time.

Do not book with KASA. They left me stranded with no check in information. They canceled my booking an hour after my check in time. Couldn't even stay there. Too many third parties involved here.

Place was clean and in a great location. We did have a few problems with the property. The deadbolt on the patio door was broken so we could never lock it. The washer had a small leak in front that required us to dry the floor. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom and we had to use hand towels in the shower.

My place did not have a dining table, but was so comfortable, clean, and just plain enjoyable. Patio / deck was amazing, view was just spectacular. The receptionists at the entry were so friendly. The only thing negative I could say was that some of the walls had scuff marks on the paint from the furniture being moved around. Overall it was great.

We really enjoyed Kasa 2nd Street! The location in downtown is ideal. The apartment was well appointed. It was a really safe building, with layers of protection. I found the virtual front desk super responsive the one time I had a question. There was construction noise from the building next door, but not at night! I highly recommend Kasa 2nd street for an Austin stay!

Arrived at the unit which wasn't cleaned or tidied up in any way. Had to contact customer service via a phone call and messages. Although quite responsive, resolution took a long time. Luckily I had some plans and was out while they were able to come up with the plan, but overall was very dissatisfied with the condition and service. Also property is right next to the construction sight so constant noise is present during day morning - no need for alarm I guess. No black out shades in any of the rooms. Only reason I didn't mark it as terrible is the customer service reps being polite and able to resolve issues.

Please do Not stay here, though it has a good appearance and views, I've come to learn from multiple stay because we wanted to give them chances because if the location, this last trip finalized it for me. First if you ever run into issues in which most likely you will from elevator not working to cleanliness, no cable TV in some of their rooms, they ask you log in into your personal accounts for Netflix, Disney, etc. in order for you to be able to watch TV, no service to take out trash, or clean your room if your staying there for more than three days this can be bothersome. When you actually try to reach out it can be via text and almost always the same responses "we're sorry and hope we can fix this, some third party has been notified, responses can be quickly but with no real resolution because they need to notify someone else in order to get approval to fix the issues. I recently stayed there 1/17-1/20 with no TV at all, hardly any water coming from the bathroom faucet or shower. With so many issues I've encountered and also our Executive team whom I've booked for as well, this is by far the worst experience we've had. You feel trapped because when they Don't fix the issues at hand you are not able to check out early to go to another hotel since they won't reimburse you even if it's their fault. Also check-in can be a nightmare if you're not tech savvy.

Could have used an extra blanket and it would have been better if there was a Keurig coffee maker.

Kasa had shower water smelling pesticide. I informed them on day1 and no action till I checked out
