Room 303: 2room suite was nice to have extra space. Front desk at check-in was unmoved, not warm, no smile. Very difficult to understand. Young man seemed shy and incapable. At hotel's happy hour (lobby bistro) Joe Perez, the bartender/cook was welcoming, friendly and working hard. Food was typical but his effort made it seem better. Great job Marriott keeping him on staff! He was doing the work of 3 people! Someone could have helped him clear off tables though. Front desk seemed oblivious even while not having anything to do within eyesight of the bustling clusters of people. Lack of teamwork on the part of front desk. Breakfast next day (Sat) wonderful! Lots of staff walking lobby making sure to greet all guests. My coffee was made to my liking so I was very pleased. A/C unit in room was either freezing cold or heater would activate, a bit annoying.
