This one of the great air B&Bs . Room was large and so was the shower area . The place was absolutely spotless Breakfast was top drawer Nothing was an issue from the hosts Will definitely return when we I go back to loch Morlich in the summer when the water is a tad warmer 😂

Dunroamin B&Bwas wonderful! (Love the name, too!) It’s very clean and comfortable and the host is great. Guests have the use of a lounge, which was great after a long day. Loved that the breakfasts were cooked to order. I would definitely stay there again!

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in the heart of Aviemore. We were made very welcome by Jim and Lorraine and treated to an exceptional breakfast. We appreciated suggestions for local walks which we so enjoyed. Restaurants, bars and shops just along the road. Thank you so much. Hopkinsons.

This is one of the cutest place I have ever been at. Jim is a great host. Kind, easy to communicate with and very helpful. We needed a room for one night only and he accommodated us on the spot. What a lovely and well maintained home! The beds are super comfy and the room we had was big and crystal clean as per the bathroom. Very quiet place, we had a nice rest and ready to explore the beautiful surroundings of the area. Good coffee and yummy home cooked breakfast! 100% recommend and already planning to go back! We just returned from here and it’s fanatic. Went up to visit aviemore for a hike and stayed here which was really the perfect place. Really clean, friendly hosts and ideal location for a wander into town. Owners really pleasant and will very much return.

Great location. Handy for buses, trains and all amenities. We had a lovely room with a view of the snowy mountains . Good range of tasty hot and cold options at breakfast. Jim and Lorraine couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. We definitely hope to be back.

The Dunroamin was just the perfect place to stay. Room was amazing with very large beautiful bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean. Breakfast was 5* they cater for all needs. Jim & Lorraine were great hosts. They go above and beyond for guests. Location was fine, everything is within walking distance. Restaurants are very busy so I would book if you can or arrive early evening. Food in Macudis, Winking Owl and balavoulin was fantastic. Depending what your plans are Aviemore is great place to visit. Look forward to a return visit.

Stayed for 4 nights in July. Aviemore is a great place to stay for hiking, mountain biking etc. for there are a lot of trails with amazing views. Beeing in Scotland the rain is always round the corner though…. I have nothing but good to say about the B&B, the service is very good, the room was clean, well equiped, the location is excellent in the center of Aviemore. Very good breakfast is served from 8-9 AM with a few different options. Well prepared too. There is on site parking. The couple keeping the place were very friendly and helpful. A lovely experience and I can honestly recommend both Aviemore and Dunroamin Bed and Breakfast for anyone wanting to experience Scotland’s Highlands!

I was impressed with the flexible attitude of the owners, i had booked for 3 nights ( a minimum requirement on their website on the dates i was staying) but needed to change this to 2 nights, i sent an email and got a quick reply back confirming my request, no fuss! You have to give a rough time of arrival, and i kept the B&B updated with my progress, i was only 10 minutes late arriving by train, about a 7/8 minute walk from Aviemore Railway Station. Had a twin room on the ground floor, plenty of space , it was just me there. Lots on the hospitality tray. At night it was generally quiet, though was disturbed by someone in the room above me discovering a creaky floorboard, my bathroom door also had a squeak, so oil required! Breakfast was great, i have simple needs, Cereal and Beans on Toast and plenty of Tea, all lovely and hot, just what i like! My room was serviced during the day, you don't get that in a Premier Inn! I was here to visit the Strathspey Railway, had a full day out on that. On the day i was leaving caught bus 37 to Cairngorm Mountain Car Park, then the Funicular Railway to the top, a fantastic experience, though it was cloudy at the summit... If anyone needs some food i'd recommend Cobbs Cafe, they do filling sandwiches with salad and crisps and nice cake too, keeps you going for most of the day...as well as the Dunroamin breakfast of course! I would like to thank Jim for accommodating me and hope to stay here again, Aviemore and Dunroamin are great places to stay!

Stayed for 3 nights in October. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were amazing so much choice and a special available every day. Hosts were welcoming and friendly - really go the extra mile for their guests. Excellent place to stay won't hesitate to return.
