艾康尼歇霍夫酒店(Altkolnischer Hof)

L'hotel si trova in centro che più centro non si può. Ha un parcheggio privato a pochi metri al costo di 5 euro al gionro. La stanza era ampia, molto pulita e la nostra col balcone è una bella alternativa, anche perchè il balcone è spazioso e c'è un tavolo con le sedie dove ci si può rilassare. La parte migliore è stata la colazione, servita in una sala storica bellissima, ma soprattutto con una varietà di scelta davvero invidiabile.. non mancava nulla e i prodotti utilizzati erano di ottima qualità. Abbiamo gradito tutto.

Das Hotel liegt in der Ortsmitte, da der Ort nicht sehr gross ist ist alles schnell erreichbar, egal ob Restaurants ein kleiner Supermarkt, oder auch der ca 150 Meter entfernte Rhein, alles in der Nähe. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Hotel sauber und denkmalgeschützt. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer mit Balkon zur Ortsmitte, uber Tag recht laut zumindest bei geöffnetem Fenster, aber Nachts erstaunlich ruhig, fast kein Verkehr weil die Hauptverkehrsstrasse hinter der Stadtmauer liegt, obwohl ich zuhause mit Ohrstopfen schlafe hatte ich hier auch ohne gut geschlafen.. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut, die Getränke und das Essen sind schmackhaft, aber im vergleich zu anderen Urlaubsregionen in Deutschland schon etwas teurer, das ist aber zumindest in Bacharach überall so. Das Hotel kann ich weiter empfehlen. Insgesamt ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub.

Posizionato proprio nel cuore del piccolo paese di Bacharach, sulle rive del Reno, l'albergo unisce il fascino e lo charme dell'architettura classica tedesca con il comfort di una struttura rimodernata e dotata di ogni comfort (tranne l'aria condizionata che magari di solito non serve ma quest'anno non sarebbe stata male...). Troverete persone molto gentili che si metteranno a diposizione per darvi indicazioni utili a visitare la cittadina e i dintorni e per risolvere qualche piccolo problema (noi ad esempio avevamo dimenticato un adattatore per le prese tedesche e ce lo hanno prestato). Colazione ottima servita nel ristorante al piano terra. Parcheggio privato disponibile a cento metri di distanza. L'hotel ha anche un ottimo ristorante.

This beautiful charming hotel was our home for two nights during our European vacation. The rooms were comfortable and very modern. Each room is unique. While there is a small elevator, each floor is multi leveled and there are many stairs and it might be difficult for those with accessibility issues. The morning breakfast was delicious and very clean and organized. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is centrally located and easy to walk anywhere in the village. It felt very safe around the hotel in the evening. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

After exploring the region by car for almost 2 weeks we had generally based ourselves in cities like Cologne, Mainz & Heidelberg other than a 2 night stay in Boppard & decided we'd like a couple more nights in a smaller, traditional town so headed to Bacharach which was high on our list of places to visit. We arrived in the town mid-afternoon, midweek having not booked any accommodation & found only a very limited number of properties available. There are only a handful of places to stay & these were mostly booked up so we were somewhat spooked to find ourselves with no phone signal in the town & nowhere to pick up wi-fi. We thankfully nipped into a very small but friendly tourist info office & used their wi-fi to book the only property available for 2 nights, an apartment belonging to the Altkolnischer Hof. We wouldn't usually have selected such accommodation but the only other property was across the river in a different village which we were reliably was even quieter than Bacharach ... which really is saying something ! We grabbed a bite to eat outside a small restaurant & on the afternoon we arived in town, nothing was open .. including our main hotel building. We managed to get into the hotel as another couple exited & called for a member of staff who checked us in with our apartment, parking space & breakfast. Our apartment was a ground floor, one bedroom property with large lounge & kitchen/dining area & allocated parking space. Whilst the decor was traditional pine & somewhat dated, it was well appointed & clean. A far cry from the hotels we had generally stayed in on the rest of our trip but a lovely change & charming. We took breakfast in the main hotel - it was incredibly reasonable & probably the nicest dining area of our entire trip ... certainly the most traditional. It was a buffet breakfast but for the price & experience we were extremely glad we took it. Bacharach is gorgeous ... it's also deathly quiet ! Do not expect quaint little chocolate shops & cafe's. There are a handful of shops & places to eat but as a base, we loved it. We ate in two different restaurants each evening and both were wonderful. At night it felt more like staying in a 1930's horror movie location than a quintessential Rhine town but we will look back on our stay with so much fondness & would definitely return

The hotel was easy to find using a navigation system. One can park in front of the hotel to unload luggage and check in. The secured hotel parking lot is 150m down the street and cost 5€ a day. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. The room was large and had a small refrigerator and a safe. Our room had a balcony that was nice for people watching while enjoying a beverage. The breakfast buffet was typical European with meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, juices, etc. My only complaint was the very weak WiFi connection that would drop out fairly frequently.

When preparing for my trip, I had a really hard time finding a hotel that still had the German charm I remembered. I was thrilled when I finally found the Alt Kölnischer Hof and so decided to go to Bacharach. Both town and hotel exceeded my expectations. This charming town is great because it isn’t too touristy yet, and the hotel was great because, in addition to looking charming, it had modern amenities, was super clean, had a lovely private balcony that we enjoyed often, was centrally located and had a staff that granted every wish. We also ate at their restaurant three times because their meals were delicious.

Wow, this hotel impressed us. We stayed in the apartment at 3 Koblenzer Strasse (the Rheinstein 1-bedroom on the top floor) and what a great deal! The apartment was conveniently located in the middle of Bacharach, an adorable location from which to explore the area. The house was perfectly clean and well equipped. The parking for 5 euros per day was located immediately in front of the front door to the building and was a reserved and numbered spot. Even with our larger car, it was simple to get into and out of. Most surprising of all was how well equipped the kitchen was. We had all of the dishes, cups, utensils, and cooking supplies we needed to skip dining out. This apartment was far better equipped than all of the AirBNBs we have been in. There is a small grocery store literally across the street and an even larger one about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.
