Absolut, här är den uppdaterade versionen med de tillägg du nämnde: Under fem dagar över nyår valde vi att bo på Hotel Blü och sammanfattningsvis var vi mycket nöjda med vår vistelse. Sängen var bekväm, även om huvudkuddarna inte riktigt levde upp till förväntningarna. Rummet var rymligt och elegant, perfekt anpassat för skidåkare, och personalen var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående. Frukosten överträffade våra förväntningar med generösa portioner och noggrant utvalda råvaror. Trots att frukostpersonalen verkade ha mycket att göra, med ett antal bord som inte var avplockade och svårt att finna ett ledigt bord, hanterade de situationen professionellt och med ett leende. När det kom till A la Carte-menyn upplevde vi den som något osammanhängande och maten var tyvärr inte lika vällagad som förväntat. Möjligen kan det anses att priset för hotellet är något högt, men trots detta lämnade vår vistelse oss överlag mycket nöjda. Spa-avdelningen var en extra bonus, väldigt fräsch och fin med två bastuaurar och en magnifik utsikt. Det bidrog definitivt till att förhöja vår upplevelse på Hotel Blü.

Tolles Hotel

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. Honestly, for the price we paid, the room was really really tiny. The bathroom with no window, very small and very old (there wasn’t even the shampoo). The room was so small that it was impossible to open two suitcases at the same time. It has no refrigerator and the twin bed was instead two single beds close together and moreover with casters as bed feet so that they were constantly moving around. A really bad room. As for breakfast, it is really very varied, there is literally everything and the breakfast area is very cozy. The sauna area is very quiet and nice.

This is now our 5th time visiting the hotel and can’t rate it highly enough. The hotel is very clean , the staff friendly and super efficient. A perfect location to explore the town and only 10mins from the lift station. Great choice and quality of food and drinks. We definitely will be back.

We booked this hotel through Crystal Ski and we all thought it was the best hotel that Crystal offer in Bad Hofgastein (we’ve been to several). Yes the rooms were the ones that hadn’t been updated, but we were made aware of this at time of booking. Whilst compact, they were spotlessly clean and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. As we’re on the mountain all day, it’s more than enough. Eva and her staff were so friendly and welcoming. They sorted out a lovely cake for our friends 30th which was wonderful. The food! What can I say? Delicious, in-fact we all agreed it was some of the best food we had ever eaten on a ski holiday. As a vegetarian I found I had lots of delicious choices. Two of our friends stayed in another hotel as they were late booking. It was no trouble for them to join us for an evening meal at the Hotel Blu. There is also a super little bar for drinks before/after dinner. We met many friendly locals and other holiday makers here. We’ve often stayed at different hotels each time we’ve been to Gastein. Not anymore, we will most definitely go back to the Hotel Blu.

Have just returned from a weeks ski holiday staying at the Hotel Blu and really couldn’t find a bad thing to say about our weeks stay there. As we booked our stay through Crystal we were as expected allocated the older rooms in the main part of the hotel. The room was small but perfectly adequate and had a balcony. The bathroom was also a bit small but most importantly had a fantastic shower with constant hot water which is needed after a long days skiing. Our room was situated above the restaurant area below but it was very quiet and never had an issue getting a good nights sleep. The bar and restaurant at the hotel are very contemporary and modern but the staff working there manage to make sure it still retains a very friendly and welcoming a**osphere. The breakfast buffet every morning was extensive with plenty of choices and even an omelette station where you could get fresh omelettes cooked every morning. The food in the restaurant on an evening was fantastic and much better than expected. You also have the option of ordering from the restaurants main A La Carte menu for a small supplement if the small fixed menu was not to your taste on any particular day. It was by far the best food we have had whilst on a ski holiday. The ski and boot room was also modern and large enough to accommodate everyone’s equipment. Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to use the hotels spa facilities so can’t comment on those. The hotel is a good 10-15 minute walk from the gondola station in Bad Hofgastein but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that gets you there in a couple of minutes. Nobody in our party of six would hesitate to return to the hotel for a future holiday be it for skiing or a summer trip.

Just got back from our second weeks stay in a matter of a few weeks. The Blu is an excellent hotel and we can not rate it highly enough. From the welcome we received from the owner to the extremely friendly and efficient staff. The food was very good and very well presented. We’ll definitely be back.

We recently returned from a ski holiday to Badhofgastein, booked via Crystal Ski, half board. The hotel received good ratings and these were confirmed. Central location with a bus stop right outside the door but also very quiet. Amazing food every night with meat, fish and vegetarian options and a fabulous breakfast buffet every morning. The staff were friendly and the hotel facilities ideal for a ski break including ski and boot room and rooftop spa. Would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely return to Hotel Blu when we return to Badhofgastein.

First impressions of the hotel were amazing with the new upgrade making it look modern and quirky which we loved....also the reason why we wanted to stay. But unfortunately we were given an old room which we did not expect due to their flashy website. It was spacious and clean apart from the ensuite where the shower walls were peeling with paint, very dated bathroom with patchy tiled floor. Constantly wet and musty as extractor fan was not adequate for the room. Due to the location of the room we had to endure the music from the bar every night and people yelling outside. Plus they allow dog owners to stay which we were very surprised at, dogs barking at inconsiderate times in the evening, even during dinner. Owners dog likes to walk about and bark periodically? Most of the staff sadly speak very little English, was a struggle at times to express opinions or order certain food and drink. Meal times were awful, this hotel does not allocate you a table for the duration of the stay so you sit where you can. Staff not so attentive, they forgot us numerous times on a daily basis and we were always chasing them up trying to pay or ask where our food was? Nothing is given to you in English and you have to ask daily for your menu in English, Breakfast items everything labelled in German, no info pack in rooms and info given upon arrival all in German! I could go on and on but if you choose to stay here be prepared for a bit of a let down.This place could be amazing but unfortunately they have a long way to go, we won't be returning and will stick to holidays in areas that are NOT new to crystal ski.😕
