巴德霍內夫院子酒店(Hotel the Yard Bad Honnef)

Great hotel in a very very central location in the town. The room was large with lots of storage. The checkin in English was easy and friendly.

Lage ist super,das Zentrum ist sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar!

Clean, great location, walkable to everywhere, train or tram station , great breakfast , friendly staff. My son is studying in IUBH, perfect place for me when I am visiting. I was here last year too when it was Maxx hotel. Yard makes you feel like home !

One indication of a good hotel is that it put things right if a problem occurs, I think. And this is what happened at the beginning of our 10 day stay after a mix-up with our booking. We have stayed a number of times before at this hotel, and for good reason; though it is again under new management. But overall it is still excellent generally. And ... still the blackbirds sing so consistently in the garden throughout the day that it seems they should be on the pay-roll! The large restaurant over-looking that splendid garden area really has the look, and the food and service is very good too. As is the welcoming attitude of the staff.

Located in the lovely town of Bad Honnef, the Yard is an ideal location for day trips. Be sure to reserve a room with a balcony, as the room gets quite stuffy and warm at night. The door can be opened for fresh, cool air. Breakfasts are amazing. My husband claims the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. My only complaint concerns the bathroom of the "disabled access" room. The sink and toilet were located at perfect heights, but the tiny 'shower chair' provided was impossible to use. I had to rig a metal-legged room chair with trash bags (to protect the cushions) to use the shower. Then there is the fact that NO GRAB BARS were installed ANYWHERE. This is very dangerous for elderly & disabled people who require support to stand or transfer. Another dangerous element is the exposed hot water piping to the towel warmer. I burned my toes to the point of blisters on this piping adjacent to the sink. Hopefully the management can install grab bars and insulate the piping.

Very very rude service in this hotel. Rooms themselves not bad but the front desk are very rude and inattentive. Almost laughably bad. Would not come back again for that reason. Made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Freundliches Personal. Zimmer sauber und gut. Negativ= Bad und Dusche sieht aus wie im Krankenhaus (aber sauber)

Also empfehlenswert geht anders.... ich war schon in vielen Hotels, aber dass ich eingeseift unter der Dusche stehe und kein Wasser kommt....no go...auch wenn ein Bus eingecheckt ist. Hallo, muß das ein 4Sterne Hotel nicht bewältigen? Toilette am Rand schimmelig, der Badlüfter summt die ganz Nacht.... Frühstück ok... Nochmal dort übernachten? Nö!

Unterbrechung einer längeren Reise als Familie. Die Verdunkelungsvorhänge waren ein Hit. Wir konnten ungestört und ausreichend lange ruhen.
