赫澤格霍夫酒店(Hotel Herzoghof)

Wir haben hier eine Nacht im Zuge eines Theaterbesuches verbracht. Die Lage direkt im Zentrum am Kurpark ist traumhaft. Perfekt für jegliche Tätigkeit in Baden (Theater, ******, Therme, Shoppen). Das Jugendstil Gebäude versprüht eine historischen Charme. Vor allem die Balkone mit Park-Blick und der historische Frühstücksaal haben uns begeistert. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen (ofenfrisches Gebäck, reiche Auswahl, unter anderem Röucherlachs). Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Parken kann man in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage (6 Parkplätzen, 16€/Tag) oder in der angrenzenden ******-Garage. Man merkt schon etwas das Alter des Hotels. Das Balkongeländer würde bereits einen neuen Anstrich vertragen und es gibt Hotels mit moderner eingerichteten Zimmern. Trotzdem kann ich dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Loved the location of this splendid hotel and the old world charm, Many of the rooms with balconies are on the shady side of the hotel. The room was spacious with a king-size bed. The room had a small balcony overlooking the historic Baden ****** and park. There is a magnificent stained glass window in the beautiful Jugendstil breakfast room. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of fruit juices, cereals, pastries, cold cuts, scrambled eggs and bacon and even cake. This hotel would have rated 5 stars except for a number of short-comings; No air conditioning in the rooms (fan was provided on request) Mattresses are saggy and need to be replaced Towels are VERY thin and no small face towels No towel rails in the bathroom (two tiny hooks on the back of the door) Shower cap and vanity packs but no hard soap just weak liquid soaps Shower is combined with a deep bathtub Moldy grout in the shower tiles No kettle in the room and no tea bags, just environmentally-unfriendly coffee pods Bathroom would look better without a large orange mural of a roulette wheel Table and chairs on balcony had not been cleaned.

Perfect location. Good breakfast. Convenient parking. But…. Our big room with stunning park/****** view wasn’t in good condition . No air conditioning, we couldn’t even open the window because of huge black bugs. Safe in the room was out of order ( probably low battery). Fridge cabinet was empty. Nice hotel but weak management.

Wie schon so oft, wieder hier in Baden in diesem Haus genächtigt. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre in diesem historischen Haus. Sehr schöne Zimmer (mit Blick zum Badener Kurpark!). Sehr freundlicher Empfang, man wird als Stammgast begrüßt und fühlt sich einfach wohl. Preis/Leistung stimmt perfekt, wunderschöner Frühstücksraum (Jugendstil) und ein ausreichend schönes Frühstück, bei dem man nichts vermisst. Sehr aufmerksames Personal! Wir kommen immer wieder, besonders zu den Festspielen oder Theaterbesuchen!

Staying at the Hotel Herzoghof, and Baden in general, feels a bit like time travel. The hotel and town are sleepy but gorgeous as 19th century, and probably even earlier, architecture lines the streets and everything moves a bit more slowly than in the nearby capital of Vienna. The Herzoghof shares some of this faded glory but is clean, comfortable and with its own old world eccentricities. For instance, the day we arrived, the front desk closed at 6PM, so we had to arrive before then. Likewise, we made the mistake of not booking a parking spot in the hotel's underground parking lot, so we had to find a spot on the street (which was pretty easy). We only stayed for one night, and we did not require any service, so the Hotel Herzoghof was perfect for us, but if you require more assistance, you might need to look elsewhere for your stay in Baden.

This was a last minute booking (made as we were waiting to board our flight to Vienna) as our previous booking cancelled that day. Check in would have closed, by the time we arrived at the hotel. A staff member got in contact quickly to advise of this fact. A late check in facility was advised / instructions issued, so that everything could go smoothly on arrival. This fast response and great customer service resulted in an enjoyable stay, rather than a very stressful one. I cannot thank them enough.

Nagyon kellemes volt a környezet, mind a szobán belül, mind a szállodában általában. Egyetlen furcsaság talán egy 4*-os szállodában a parketta borítás a szobában. Az elhelyezkedés kiváló, közel a városközponthoz, egyben közel a zöldhöz, a Kurpark gyakorlatilag a szálloda mellett kezdődik. A reggeli előtti futáshoz kiváló terepet biztosított. A reggeli bőséges, bár nem túl változatos, cserében kellemes környezetben fogyasztható.

Отель солидный. У нас был большой люкс на третьем этаже. С высокими потолками. Очень мило рецепшен распечатали нам необходимую бумагу. Спасибо! Завтраки ок, но за 4 дня немного надоели. Какие минусы? В таком хорошем люксе сильно не хватало халата. Окна гостиной выходили на курпарк и фонтаны. Все прекрасно, но зачем же в 7 утра очень громко косить траву? Так как окна у отеля родные, то звукоизоляция не очень. Даже с закрытым балконом было осень некомфортно. Окна спальни выходили в тесный колодец из соседних домов. В 2 метрах от нашего окна было окно квартиры. У нас и у них ночью были открыты окна - жарко, кондиционеров нет. Так вот они просто громко разговаривали до 2 часов ночи. Они не кричали и не буянили, но было нам очень громко. Что делать в этой ситуации - непонятно, ресепшен работает до 7 вечера, потом никого нет. Кричать в окна вроде бы в Австрии не принято, вызывать полицию? Мы не знали.
