My husband and I stopped at the Santiago Beach Resort for three weeks in January 2026, this is our third visit!! Situated in a quiet location, but within a short walking distance of Baga Road. Rooms are large and airy with air-con and fan, cleaned every day. Plenty of bottled water with coffee/tea faciities. Staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Food is excellent. The stroll from the Santiago Hotel to the main road is a very pleasant experience, be warned it can take some time!! You have Max the tailor on the left, always happy to have a chat and an extremely proficient garment maker. On the right you have Jack the Jeweller, any type of jewellery you want Jack's your ***. Definitely goes above and beyond expectations and very knowledgeable. Already booked for next year.

Hotel is not tourist friendly. The Staff does not support to provide any food for infant. Although we have also opt dinner buffet as well with our booking, they are not giving just providing repeat food. Also Wifi is not working in the hotel Very dissatisfaction services from the hotel staff. Please think twice before selecting this resort.

Great hotel down lane from madness of Baga to Calangute main rd.Spotlessly clean with wonderful staff.Big rooms with v good shower and comfy balcony.Plentiful breakfast and v good restaurant and bar,

Loved every day at this fabulous hotel small and quaint, the staff are very caring ,helpful ❤️ nothing was beyond them. Food was amazing the taste 😋. We did eat out occasionally but really the food served there no need realy if your all-inclusive .. The jewellery shop on site must say a big thank you too Vijay most helpful in making a beautiful diamond platinum ring for my luvly wife the design I gave him came out perfectly 👌 Thank you 🙏 do visit it's worth talking to him if you have a design in mind.. Looking forward to our return this Yr So all the staff thank you again for making our holiday enjoyable. Xxx

The hotel staff are excellent and really make the holiday. Vejay runs an excellent jewelery by the pool, highly recommend. The pool is a little shaded but kept clean. They have a limited number of beds but most guests go to the beach, around a 10 minute walk.

The hotel is fantastic. The staff reception and especially the bar are so courteous and attentive that nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are basic but also spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is also an on site Tailor and Jeweller who again are first class. Had a diamond ring made for my wife and a replacemect white gold band for me which are both flawless. My wife even took some trousers with her from home that needed altering and again they were brilliant. Have already booked to return in 2027

Our second visit over Christmas and new year (2024 and 2025) and just booked for 2026. It’s not a posh hotel but very friendly, the food (chosen from a menu, not buffet) is amazing and it’s a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of town. The staff are amazing and everyone is very friendly. There’s a gala dinner on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve with entertainment and dancing.

We arrived on 5th November 2025 x6 of us… Not a good start as my friend had an accident on an evening out.. we were originally on the top floor,staff were very accommodating & moved us to the ground floor which was fantastic.. she also was pool bound for a few days & staff were very caring,helping her with things & nothing was to much trouble! Lovely hotel,close to Baga beach,shops,bars etc Staff were brilliant,very helpful especially VJ who owns the jewellers at the hotel,very polite always had a smile,good with suggestions on where to visit in the area. Rooms were basic but that’s Goa air conditioning was amazing,very good cleaning service of our rooms. Definitely be returning soon

We have been staying at the Santiago for almost 20 years. It’s great for couples, families and single travellers. We meet wonderful people from all over the world. The food is excellent, cooked to order. Indian, Continental and Pan Asian. The staff are the most polite and friendliest. They always want to make your holiday experience the best. It’s very well managed. Our room is always very clean and comfy. The swimming pool is great too chill out in after a hot day on the beach. The hotel is once again being managed by the De Souza family owners and it shows. The rooms and facilities have been freshly decorated and very clean. Definitely recommend this hotel for a winter holiday.

This hotel is very clean.Staff helpful and friendly. The pool area is clean and surrounding area are well kept. The restaurant serves Chinese and Italian food as well as a good choice if Indian. I returned again in March and will be returning again in November. As a lone traveller l can recommend it. The walk to the beach is a 10 minute stroll

It was good to stay here , we felt safe , crowd was decent .Break Fast should have more varieties ,the staff was cooperative and well mannered, Ambiance is wonderful.

We have been going to the Santiago beach resort for 11 years on and off. Rooms and bed comfortable, air-conditioning and fans are brill. Food is plentiful and very tasty. The staff are great from the reception down to the gardeners and cleaners. Waiting staff couldn't do enough for you, all great lads.

Great little hotel, staff are always attentive to people's needs, management are always ready to hear any remarks from guests. Britesh and Walter and the service team are amazing and enjoy having fun with the guests, nice to be treated like family instead of visitor. Food is always fresh and cooked to your like whether that's a mild dish or slightly hotter. Rooms are as you would expect and cleaned to your needs whether that's every day or required. Definitely booking again.
