巴達米克拉克斯旅館(Grand Clarks Inn)

The hotel is run down. The staff make it up with their service and the food is good. The GM is very helpful. He had just joined them.

It was a substandard experience, the hotel is unhygienic. I got seriously sick with a stomach bug after eating at this hotel. Poor condition of bed linen. Only location is central, and room size is good. The hotel does not have a bar or a sitting lounge worth its name

The rooms are spacious and gives clear view of the badami caves and fort from top floors. Space is clean and very comfortable for your Badami stay. Special thanks to Mr. P Banerjee and other staff for going out of their way and helping me out for a special occasion.

Monkey poop on the windows, air conditioner showing E6 error, complete negligence on behalf of the staff, living in hazardous conditions and still being told everything is ok and it’s problem with us… name it and there was a big issue with everything. We had reserved 3 rooms for two nights. Since day 1 We had a problem with the ac since day 1 and we’re asked to keep it on low mode- then on our last evening the air conditioner completely broke down. On complaining they sent a person who was not aware of technical problems of an ac. They told us the ice was over in the ac. The reception staff also said the same and in the last 2 hours before we had to leave they offered to change the room finally. The general ***ager and the staff was super negligent about their low maintainence standards that can be hazardous for the guests. Second problem was each bathroom was full of flies and moths. So much for the expected standard of such a hotel. We had guests from abroad all these problems were embarrassing! And the air conditioner problem was hazardous. Now this was about the room. Coming to the restaurant. Untrained staff- we had to tell them what to do. Food was of extremely poor standard- so much so that the small shabby restaurants outside the hotel were our saving grace. Also for 5 people they always served us food and drinks and plates for 4 people. No apologies from the serving staff. We paid 6000 per room for each night for nothing. Sheer waste. Very corrupt hotel in charge to be keeping guests in such hostile conditions.

We stayed there on 8 March 2023 The hotel is right on the busy road, Thin and worn out grey towels, smelly pillows, dirty cups in the room, no tea, coffee, milk, spoons in the room, lukewarm shower, Reception staff offered to change the room and showed 2 more rooms - all had patches of dirt here and there, monkeys on the window, blown out bulbs in the bathroom, nice food in the restaurant but hair found in the curry and the restaurant tariff was relatively expensive. This turned out to be the worst of all the hotels we stayed during our tour of south India. The added disappointment was because of the driver (Yusuf) who was allocated to us by the hotel to take us around for sightseeing at Badami caves and Hampi. He made us hire an auto-rickshaw at Hampi for an additional charge of Rs 1000 to take us to various points of attraction where he was supposed to take us and was already paid for it. At the end of the tour, he also de***ded a large additional amount of money to pay for toll fee, waiting and parking charges. This was in spite of the fact that the car hire was already paid for in full, inclusive of all charges. It was not until I rang up my travel agent in Kolkata that he allowed us to leave.

Good place to stay for couples family and solo travelers. Location is good and at a walking distance from badami cave temple. It has a restaurant which offers good food though the prices are on the higher side. Located 5 kms from train station and 3 kms from bus station.

Dont go by just name, it got Unprofessional & rude staff and ***agement, they refused to give drinking water. Bathroom, linens not clean, flat uncomfortable pillows. Could have better property if maintained properly. Terrible hospitality, not recommended.
