Civita di Bagnoregio è di per sé un luogo sospeso, un frammento di tempo che resiste. Ma dentro Civita c’è un altro luogo ancora, un “luogo nel luogo”: la Corte della Maestà.❤️ Non è solo un relais: è un’esperienza di bellezza, di quiete e di cultura. Ogni angolo – antico o moderno che sia – vibra di passione, di cura e di vita. Qui si riscopre il valore della lentezza: liberarsi dalla frenesia cittadina, concedersi almeno due notti, e accorgersi che vorreste averne scelte di più.❤️‍ L’ospitalità dei padroni di casa ha la delicatezza di un gesto antico e la profondità di una conversazione intellettuale. Ci si perde nel "giardino segreto", ci si lascia avvolgere dalle stanze che custodiscono storia e memoria, ci si riconcilia con se stessi. Sì, è un luogo “lussuoso”. Ma non nel senso banale del termine: qui il lusso non è ostentazione, è la possibilità rara di portarsi via qualcosa di intangibile. Un frammento di felicità comprata, sì, ma che resta dentro, più autentica di molte altre esperienze della vita.

Desde el cuidado de Cristiana por hacernos pasar mejor que en nuestra propia casa hasta por la explicación de cómo fueron haciendo el lugar, se trató de una experiencia única de principio a fin. Un lugar que conjuga lo etrusco, el legado romano y el buen gusto con un servicio inigualable.

Our stay here was magical! The host's attention to all the details brings you to be present and enlivens the soul! The breakfasts were lavish and always something to look forward to. A stay here is hard to put into words - it's something that can only be experienced with the heart. Thank you for the most memorable stay!

Descrivere certe sensazioni dello spirito non è roba da social, basti però dire che io e mia moglie non più di 10 giorni fa abbiamo soggiornato per qualche giorno in questo meraviglioso luogo, in un territorio altrettanto meraviglioso in cui la natura spiega all’uomo chi comanda. Corte della Maestà è un luogo dove rigenerare tutte le proprie energie grazie all’accoglienza e all’ospitalità profondamente umana e ben organizzata di Christiana la proprietaria. Al pari del personale della struttura. Un luogo architettonicamente e organizzativamente predisposto per farvi entrare ad essere cullati da una tranquillità senza pari aiutata dal fatto che Civita di Bagnoregio per fortuna è un luogo dove circola poca modernità salvo greggi di turisti affaticati e relativamente rumorosi. Unica nota che non vorrei definire negativa ma di folklore, la presenza di ospiti del Nord Italia non abituati a salutare con educazione agli altri ospiti.ma si è trattato di una coppia in particolare, in generale tutti gli ospiti della struttura mostrano serenità gioia di vivere e rispetto per il prossimo.

We travel to Italy for a month every year and this is hands down the most incredible place we have stayed in. Civita is out of this world. Corte della Maesta is such a beautiful, magical and memorable place to stay. It is wonderfully curated and it is clearly a labour of love for Cristiana and Paolo. The gardens are gorgeous and we have never had such an incrediblle breakfast. What makes this place unforgettable is Cristiana . What a beautiful human being she is. My mother had just died and Cristiana was so incredibly kind and gentle with me. Her love for Civita and for Corte della Maesta shows in every cup and saucer, every rose in the garden and in everything she does. She is an amazing host and helped us in so many ways. You will never forget your stay! Thank you Cristiana, so very much.

This place is magical. Gracious staff and hostess. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, breakfast was amazing. Lots of charm and character, the decor was eclectic-this place is a must stay. We felt that it was the highlight of a very active trip, and really completed our journey. Can’t imagine coming back to Italy without staying here again.

Cristiana ci accoglie nella sua dimora con l’amabilità della perfetta padrona di casa. Siamo subito nel cuore della casa:la cucina,ricca di dettagli che emozionano ed avvolgono. Oltre all’eleganza e alla fantasia,percepiti in ogni ambiente,ci si sente abbracciati dal sapore di “casa “. Un lussureggiante giardino è la scenografia che incornicia la nostra prima colazione,ricca,varia e curatissima. Pazienti e molto educate, ci fanno compagnia Ortensia ed Olivia (due labrador) aspettando,composte ai nostri piedi, un gesto di generosità. Camere silenziose e materassi eccellenti ci permettono di chiudere la giornata in perfetto benessere. Grazie a Cristiana,Paolo e alla preziosissima signora Anna. Torneremo sicuramente.

This was an unbelievable, magical place, in the unbelievable, magical Civita. Cristiana was the most caring and gracious host. She taught us about the history of the Corte, booked us a quiet dinner at a friend's restaurant, and then we had an incredible private breakfast in her garden, with fruits, pastries, eggs, and excellent coffee. I cannot recommend the Corte della Maesta enough, I am urging all my friends to visit, and I can't wait to be back in Italy and drop by again.

My stay at Corte della Maestà was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll forever remember as one of the greatest days of my life! Every detail across the gorgeously landscaped garden, maximalist mind-blowing kitchen, and rooms was clearly tenderly designed to create a top-tier experience for each guest. I felt like I was living in a film while being treated like royalty. A lot of reviewers mention the lavish breakfast feast and it really *is* something to write home about! I loved sitting in the garden during breakfast while Cristiana’s sweet (and so funny!) dogs lay beside me. I loved the dogs so much I even opened the doors to our room in the morning so they could pay me a visit. I truly think every human deserves to stay for at least a night at Corte della Maestà and I hope someday I have the privilege to do it again! For now, I have the memories, and boy oh boy are they some good ones!

Corte della Maestra is an incredibly beautiful place to stay. The interior design reflects excellent taste. The attention to detail and hospitality provided by our incredible hosts was the best we’ve ever experienced. Breakfast in the garden, or in the piano room when it was drizzly, was wonderful. Freshly made and excellent levels of presentation. Our room was spotless with complimentary wine and home made biscuits. Cristiana helped book us in to restaurants, organised the little tractor for our cases and gave us recommendations. The dogs are a bonus - we loved having them around. The garden is a sanctuary and paradise on busy days. This really is a hidden gem, a one of a kind special stay.
