We stayed at Rancho Corcovado for 3 nights… so sad we didn’t stayed more. This place is amazing and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. I never gave a score of 100 / 10 but this is the place !! The lodge is beautiful. We stayed in the highest room with an amazing view of the sea. A great balcony to spend an afternoon, just admiring the view and the makao parrots. Everything was just perfect. The Rancho serve 3 meals per day and they have a super chef- Sophie that creates wonderful meals, even the lunch during our visit in the park was one of the best we ever had in Costa Rica.

Impeccably clean. Stunning view. Organic and lush environment, right on the edge of the beach. Note that all the lodges rooms are going up the hill, and it's hard to find which one is the main office. Exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. This lodge seems to be where many of the tours start, and is very close to the 'center" of town. If you go to Osa, stay here and ask for room thre; a corner room at the top of the lodge, overlooking the beach on one side and up into the forest on the other. Even the shower has two sides of windows. You're high enough such that no one can see in. We regularly saw pairs of macaws leaving south. Bright blue birds sitting at the tip of trees. Hummingbirds, and surroundings of lush and startlingly elegant flowers. The lodge restaurant has amazing coffee too. As we had to have our own food, they had no issue with us storing a lunchbox in their fridge. They brought it out with no questions whenever we asked. This is the perfect edge of the world. Wir haben mit Rancho Corcovado eine Tagestour in den Nationalpark Corcovado sowie eine Schnorcheltour zur Caño Island gemacht und waren von beiden Ausflügen begeistert. Die Corcovado-Tagestour war hervorragend organisiert. Unser Guide Xavier war sehr sachkundig, hat viel Wissen über Tiere und den Regenwald geteilt und sich viel Mühe gegeben uns möglichst viele Tiere aus einer guten Perspektive zu zeigen (Highlight war ein Tapier). Unabhängig vom Anbieter kann man beim Ein- und Aussteigen aus dem Boot je nach Wasserstand bis zur Hüfte nass werden. Auch die Schnorcheltour zur Caño Island war top und gut organisiert. Auf der Hinfahrt konnten wir einen Buckelwal sehen. Unser Guide Brandon war stets dabei und konnte während dessen noch viel zu den Tieren erklären. Beim Schnorcheln haben wir viele Fische, Schildkröten, Haie und Rochen gesehen (beim Schnorcheln sollte man beachten, dass man je nach Wellengang auch seekrank werden kann). Besonders positiv fanden wir den respektvollen Umgang mit der Natur. Nach der Rückkehr wurden wir mit frischer Ananas begrüßt und es gab noch ein Mittagessen. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Corcovado und Caño Island erleben möchten

Tomamos el tour de un día a Corcovado Estación Sirena y el tour a la Isla Del Caño. Super recomendados y muy bien organizados. Los guías Manuel y Xavier tienen mucha experiencia y muy cuidadosos. Muy buenos los almuerzos en ambos tours. Gracias por esta experiencia inolvidable

Wir haben in einem anderen Hotel übernachtet haben aber hier einen Schnorcheltrip gebucht. Unsere Gruppe bestand, abgesehen von uns, nur aus spanischsprechenden Leuten. Ronaldo unser Guide hat trotzdem immer fleissig alle Informationen inkl. Witzen jederzeit zweisprachig übersetzt, so dass wir auch mitlachen konnten. Leider wurde ich beim schnorcheln ziemlich früh bereits Seekrank. Ronaldo war sehr verständnisvoll und er und seine Crew haben sich super um mich gekümmert. Trotz der begrenzten Schnorchelzeit für mich, war es ein legendärer Ausflug auf dem wir nur schon bei der Hin- und Rückfahrt Wale und Delfine sehen konnten. Ein absolutes Highlight - sozusagen eine 2 für 1 tour. Kann ich sehr empfehlen!

The tour of Corcovado park was the highlight of my teenage son’s and my trip to Costa Rica. Our tour guide, Roy, was exceptionally knowledgeable and really devoted to giving us a great time with the most interesting animals. At one point he made a major detour for us just to see a rare anteater in a tree. We saw tapirs, many kinds of monkeys, amazing birds, coati eating eggs and land crabs, and more. Truly special.

Hicimos al actividad de snorkel a Isla El Caño. Una experiencia inolvidable. Durante el viaje vimos ballenas y delfines. Y en haciendo snorkel tortugas y peces alucinantes. Luego de la primera “inmersion” me sentí mal y Reinaldo me ofreció dejarme en un playa y pasar e a buscar luego. Todo un detalle que se agradece en esos momentos. Milagros nos recibió el primer dia que llegamos al hotel y nos explicó con detalles las actividades de los 3 dias y nos dio un impreso con las mismas y lsus horarios. Todo muy bien organizado. La habitación tiene vistas espectaculares sobre la bahia Drake. La comida está bien, la cocinera es muy amable. La visita al Parque Corcovado estuvo muy bien. A eso ayudó mucho Manuelito, el guia. Se esmero en que viesemos la mayor cantidad de animales. Se nota que conoce mucho de la flora y fauna del parque.

Food is amazing, the people are so nice and generous. We got a free upgrade for both rooms which made our stay even better, perfect ocean view. AC and a fan in the room makes it real comfortable. Beds a bit too hard for our liking but that seems to be throughout all of the hotels we've stayed in Costa Rica. Tours booked through the hotel are so good, friendly tourguides with loads of knowledge and make the best trip possible. We had to get used to the wet landings, first time u dont know whats happening. Next time it's so fun. Simply an adventurous but also relaxing destination because of the placing and hospitality.

Très bon accueil. Très bonne table. Chambre confortable. Randonnée extraordinaire. Le sourire est omniprésent, quel bonheur. Je recommande cet établissement, hôtel pied dans l'eau, environnement paradisiaque. Que le son des vagues et le cri des oiseaux.

Hôtel très bien situé, accès direct à la mer. La cuisine est excellente et le personnel est très accueillant et agréable. L’organisation est parfaite et tout est mis en œuvre pour que votre séjour soit inoubliable. Niveau propreté, c‘est parfait aussi! Ils offrent même la possibilité de réserver différents tours sur place! (Parc Corcovado etc…)

Pas de wifi dans les chambres et le lieu est hyper cher. Plongée trois fois plus cher qu’en Indonésie et deux fois plus chères qu’en France. … des voleurs. Il y a beaucoup mieux ailleurs dans le monde et surtout en Asie. Fuyez le Costa Rica… et allez ailleurs

Un séjour incroyable arrivé atypique par bateau qui rajoute du charme à cette île. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Les chambres disposent d’une très belle vue. Merci encore pour ce séjour de 3 jours dans cet écrin de verdure avec une faune impressionnante. De nombreuses activités sont disponibles au pied de l’hôtel (snorkeling, visite corcovado…)

Perfekte Lage direkt am Strand in der Bahia Drake, eine tolle & gepflegteAnlage, jeden Morgen ein tolles Frühstück und ein super hilfsbereites und zuvorkommendes Team. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Auch die Sonnenuntergänge sind von dort aus traumhaft. Es war wunderschön.

La actividad de Smorkling tour en la isla del caño fue perfecta con un guía muy interesante, describiendo toda la naturaleza con mucha pasión. Tuvimos la suerte de ver muchos animales, tortugas, un tiburón … Recomiendo esta agencia para hacer el tour.
