Vriendelijk dame achter de receptie, aardige bediening. Hotel ziet er aan de buitenkant niet slecht uit. Eenmaal binnen overviel mij het gevoel van Spanje uit de jaren 80. Kamer met zicht over zee erg ruim, 2 grote eenpersoons bedden, oud meubilair en kleedjes naast het bed. De bedden zijn aan vervanging toe. De muren aan een kwast met witte verf. Airco recent vernieuwd en die was nog te koud voor de tijd van het jaar. Raam open en frisse zeewind was prima. Grote badkamer met grote douche. Het valt op dat het geheel vooral erg schoon is. Internet van prima kwaliteit maar in de kamer verlies je de verbinding. Wij waren hier met een tour. Dinner was gezamenlijk. Grote bak met salade vooraf, varkensfilet met koude gegrituurde aardappels en wat champignons. Stukje gebak als toetje. Ik was niet onder de indruk. Ik denk dat het tegenwoordig lastig is om iedereen zomaar varkensvlees voor te zetten. Wij eten het niet omdat we het niet lekker vinden maar er kunnen ook religieuze reden zijn. Het meeste vlees bleef dan ook op de borden achter. Een stukje kip was een meer veilige keuze geweest. Het ontbijt is matig maar vers.

Hotel de mala calidad, que ha ido en decadencia con los años sin ningun tipo de mejora. Llevo años viniendo a Bayona por trabajo y hace años era un hotel correcto. Ahora me dieron una habitación con alfombras sucias, con una cortina rota y un techo bajo que me obligaba a agacharme para poder llegar al armario. Servicio de desayuno pésimo. Un pena este declive teniendo una localización tan privilegiada.

Un hotel de hace unos años y precisa una renovación de las habitaciones y especialmente el baño, anticuado. La habitación limnpia. Las vistas frente a la bahia buenas. El personal amable. No tienen servicio comedor, pero me indicaron un par de opciones.

Habitaciones standar para 3 estrellas , ruidosas y el servicio de internet muy malo , intermitente y baja señal . El desayuno continental pasa con nota regular . Eso si las chicas del front desk muy amables y atentas , pendientes a la solicitudes

Estuve alojada en la habitación 228, desde el 22 al 29 de agosto 2022. El hotel ha cumplido con las condiciones que solicité en la reserva. El trato ha sido amable, cercano y siempre dispuesto. Quiero felicitar, en especial, al camarero Javi por su delicadeza, voluntariedad, servicio y profesionalidad al ofrecer, disponer y gestionar mi comida, con una dieta severa, que llevo durante toda mi estancia, siempre con cortesía y afabilidad. En ningún otro hotel he recibido este trato. Muchísimas gracias. Sin duda, para repetir.

We stayed here the first night of our Camino. You can walk directly from the hotel onto the beach behind it, and from there you can swim in the bay. The cool water felt amazing on tired legs. This hotel appeared to be a step up from other properties nearby. We had the wider size twin beds in our twin share room and the rooms have enough space to spread out a bit. Our room had a small balcony which was a nice touch. Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but the breakfast was fantastic and the hotel had a lovely level of service.

Terrible hotel, filthy, stained walls and horrible furnishings. We stayed here on our Camino it was not relaxing. Really uncomfortable beds and poor facilities. Breakfast is basic and food is a poor standard. Would not recommend to any camino traveler.

pics look great but place is very rundown and furnishings are old and dirty good location would really not have stayed there if I had seen the place first staff is very nice and accommodating though restaurant and bar area dingy restaurant only open 8pm to 10pm

We spent two nights here (giving ourselves a rest day) while cycling the Portuguese Camino. The hotel, like us, when we arrived, is a little worn...but our rooms were clean, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the location absolutely perfect. I would stay here again.

Well located hotel directly opposite the beach, and a 15 minute stroll into the historic town centre. Room decor is a bit tired, but rooms are clean, spacious, and with free wifi. Cheerful little cafeteria/bar. Enthusiastically welcoming staff team, who gave us useful guidance on the town and its amenities.

Easy check in, very friendly reception staff. Rooms are spacious and mine over looked the lovely beach. Found several creepy crawlies in the bathroom and bedroom. Poor selection at breakfast, mostly pastries and bread.

Arrived today on our first day of our Camino organised by Santiago Ways. After reading the previous reviews, we were apprehensive as to what they in store for us. We were immediately pleasantly surprised. Reception staff - excellent, pleasant, efficient and tolerant of our inability to speak but a few words of Spanish. Rooms - large, scrupulously clean and comfortable. Location- directly opposite the beach and an easy 10 minute walk to the old town - to be highly recommended! This is a lovely place to stay.

This hotel was booked by Comino Ways for my first two nights at the beginning of my Camino. The online pictures don't do the hotel justice. My room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel staff, especially Carmen at the front desk, were really wonderful. They got me checked in quickly and answered all my questions very thoroughly and in English (which made up for my lack of Spanish). I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with every aspect of this hotel!

Santiago Ways booked us in here for the first night of a pilgrimage tour. I haven’t had breakfast yet, so I can’t comment there, but the hotel itself is very much in need of a renovation. The rooms are dated, with inadequate lighting, squeaky beds and poorly functioning air con. Rooms facing the street are noisy. Public rooms have peeling paint. The staff we met show little interest in resolving issues. On the plus side, it’s very close to a gorgeous beach and it’s quite clean.
