Rating dies not represnt the wyndham baku hotel as they transferred me to the firmer caspian business hotel next to them, claiming that is same group that owns with only three months acquired by the owner of Wyndham Baku and they are in a transformation phase,
I had this booked 5months earlier because of F1 weekend everything was fully booked.
So they couldn’t accommodate, I complained to the Trip.com Customer Service and they called the reservation manager which she was rude, the Ops manager of the hotel Younis came to speak me to I explained to Younis this was not expected, as I choose to stay at the wyndham, they transferring me to a hotel that I never heard of in a country I am a visitor so I do not feel comfortable and safe to stay, Younis iffered a relocation to Ramada by Wyndham which is far away from the airport and city centre so I declined, I had no choice to stay to the Caspian claiming 5* but felt 3* the common areas.
After discussion with Younis we agreed to offer me transit to the airport on check out date and free meal for the first day I arrived, including to use their gym, swimming pool free of charge as my initial booking was for Wyndham Baku.
Location far from centre by Bolt ride app 30minutes, find a taxi not difficult but coming back I had to pay priority for driver to accept the ride.
Metro is difficult with times and one change two stops after which I didng use.
The area overall is under construction.
I don’t recommend only for location reasons. I haven’t experienced the wyndham Baku rooms or services as I never used.
