Magnifique villa sur un spot spectaculaire. Chambre très confortable avec vue directe sur la plage. Personnels et cuisinier de Haut standing. Je recommande particulièrement la villa Sandals. Accès direct à la plage, très propre par ailleurs.

Ein kleines Paradies mit sehr freundlichem Service und einer excellenten einheimischen als auch internationalen Küche. Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt. Lage direkt an einem Strandabschnitt, der fast unbesucht bleibt. Sehr sauberer Swimmingpool.

Even though we were met with terrible weather, the house was so comfortable that we felt so relaxed looking out at the rain from the inside. We had an amazing experience at the house and managed to make the most of everything on offer, which was made possible by the amazing and hospitable staff who took care of us during our stay.

Recently stayed at Sandals by Edwards Collection with my family and the location and accommodation were incredible. The property was incredibly clean and the room had a amazing sea view. The property backs out onto the beach which was great for a morning stroll. We were lucky enough to have had the property to ourselves for the duration of our stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure all our needs were met. They were very flexible and were helpful for our dietary requirements and requests. The team were also helpful in providing insightful advice about the surrounding areas and helping us to arrange transport to various locations. The attention to detail in all aspects of the service was great. This was by far the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The food was amazing - we had breakfast here everyday and some dinners (thank to the chef Lakshita!). Thank you very much to Lakshita, Nadeeshsa and the rest of the team. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Wir waren 3 Tage im The Sandals und haben dort wunderbare Urlaubstage verbracht. Die Villa liegt an einem wunderschönen, ruhigen Strandabschnitt abseits der Touristenströme, ist geschmackvoll gebaut und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit direktem Zugang zum Infinitypool. Einfach super. Lakshita, der Chefkoch, ist ein sehr sympathischer, liebenswerter Mann und kocht auf höchstem Niveau. Frühstück und Abendessen waren jeden Abend ein wahrer Genuss. Nadeesha war ein sehr aufmerksamer, freundlicher und kommunikativer Ober und kümmerte sich bestens um uns. Krishna und Pathum erledigten das Housekeeping sehr sauber und zurückhaltend. Wir fühlen uns bestens versorgt und können die Villa, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung an einem Traumstrand sucht, wärmstens empfehlen. Sollten wir wieder nach Sri Lanka kommen, werden wir The Sandals auf alle Fälle wieder besuchen. Dieter

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit ausgezeichneter Lage Der Service ist hervorragend Alle sind sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist reichlich und ausgewogen. Essen ist ok aber viel zu teuer. Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Mit einem Tuk Tuk ins Nächste Restaurant ca.2km lohnt sich.

Amazing place and so romantic...beach front...it's a private villa only 5 rooms...feeling like at home with all the comfort of an hotel...decoration and furniture are amazing...staff is very kind and effective...food is very nice...very nice building and pool...I will go again for sure....it's a small paradise....

We were a group of 8 friends visiting Sandals from 3rd to 5th Jan Sandals is a beautiful property with a lovely sea view wherever you are The staff Nadeesha, Rishan, Umesh and chef Pubudu was exceptionally nice and accommodating and made us feel very much at home We will come back for sure..

Located in the heart of Balapitiya, Sandals offers the perfect blend of customized luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. We stayed as a family at the Mother of Pearl Suites which offered stunning ocean views, spacious rooms, and amenities making it an ideal choice. The staff is incredibly attentive and always go the extra mile to ensure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Additionally, its proximity to popular landmarks and attractions makes it a convenient base for exploring. I would highly recommend The Sandals for a relaxing and memorable stay.

We had an amazing stay at the end of our trip through Sri Lanka at this hidden gem by the sea! Everything exceeded our expectations: the incredibly kind and attentive staff, the delicious food, and the breathtaking, infinite view of the ocean from the stunning garden. We had the most wonderful stay at the Sandals by Edwards at Balapitiya. We are three sisters who were looking for a brief getaway from Colombo. This villa met all our requirements. The setting by the beach was amazing. We were impressed with the property and the amenities it had to offer. Most importantly the staff made our stay a memorable one. They made us welcome from the start and Nadeesha,Pubudu, Krishan and Pathum were exceptionally good.Nothing was too much trouble for them. We felt like we were in paradise. I’ve recently had the pleasure of staying at Sandals by Edwards Collection! The staff there are amazing, really friendly. The place was super clean, and the views were amazing. Big thanks to Nadeesha, Lakshitha, Pathum, and Krishan, they made our experience extra awesome. Being so close to the beach was awesome, and everything about the place was fantastic. Thanks to the team for making it a relaxed experience. I highly recommend The Sandals for a great getaway! Can't wait to go back!!

This is a hidden gem in Southern coast of Sri Lanka.The best and the most relaxing experience you could ever get from a hotel.The sea view by the infinity pool is breath taking and the service of the hotel staff is beyond words. The taste of delicious foods and the warmth of the sea breeze would make you feel heaven. A big thank to wonderful hotel staff Nadeesha , Lakshitha, Pathum, Krishan for the amaizing hospitality.

The small property was perfect for our family. The food was good and the pool overlooking the ocean was perfect. The service could improve as I did not feel the value for money. Extensive food menu however the drinks are limited. Staff is friendly and helpful. Reservations and payment stage was not great.
