The cabin is conveniently located with year round access. It has all the amenities of home, all the furnishings you need. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, loft, family room, fire pit, satellite, wifi, big wrap around deck, 2 driveways for ample parking. THERE IS A BIG BOLD DECK THAT ANCHORS THE ROCK RIDGE CABIN TO THE DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST. TUCKED BACK IN THE TREES, THIS PEACEFUL CABIN WILL HOST UP TO SIX PEOPLE.The spaceThere is one private queen bedroom on the main floor with two queen beds to share one open loft upstairs which allows for tree top views through the large picture windows.Upon entering the home you’ll see beautiful fireplace installed in the main room. The cabin comes fully equipped with the basics for cooking and cleaning as well as a full-size refrigerator to make yourself comfortable. The cabin has comfortable seating for four at the dining table and sectional with two recliners. Last but not least the old A-frame had a bathroom that’s was remodeled into a beautiful walk-in shower. Rock Ridge it’s a perfect cabin for a relaxing and cozy retreat out in of the city. The home kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare a home cooked meal. We have a fireplace for heat but you may use heat and ambience as well! The county plows do not plow at night and they start as early as possible to clear roads in the mornings. Once you arrive to the village the drive to the cabin is on snow covered gravel roads. Roads are plowed by slowly Road they often be slippery and freezing conditions are covered with some inches of fresh snow. They may not be cell service for your provider in our area so please come prepared. You will ascend 8500 ft. Winter weather may vary on your journey.4x4 is REQUIRED Winter months and we always just carrying chains. **If you feel you need chains put them on BEFORE attempting the hills, put them on in them on in a safe, flat, out of the way area. DO NOT BLOCK ROADS especially Movie Ranch/ Meadow Ranch ( it is a hill once past the church) as it is the only access to the community. Do not ask if your 2 Wheel drive can make it the answer is NO!SNOW REMOVAL: if it snows during your stay your driveway will be blown out if there’s 8” or more. The plow may only blow up to where your car is parked, if you park in the spot left of the cabin the plow should be able to blow the entire driveway. Snow removal on your deck, too and around your car is your responsibility. There will be a shovel on the deck of the cabin. We are in line for snow plow AFTER the main roads, resident and elders.POWER OUTAGES: in the event of a power outage the only source of heat is from the fireplace and you will have to start the fire for heat. We do not stock wood or fire starters. Plan ahead if there is winter weather and have these provisions. We are not able to provide them for you, there is no Uber, there is no Uber eats, no food delivery! No tow trucks! Be prepared! Yes, the power goes out in the winter weather!Please keep in mind if you arrive after dark on the Mountain most everything may be closed. Please plan ahead. Our SINGLE level, 960 sq. ft. LARGE 3 bedroom, 1 bath condo is located at 8500 ft in Duck Creek Village, well known as the 'Heart of Color Country'. It is nestled in a pine tree hillside and is easily accessed off of the scenic highway. You access this condo in the back, bringing you right to your front door. You'll have no long walks, elevators or flights of stairs when unloading your personal belongings for your vacation stay. However, in the winter it's not recommended to drive up the hill to your door. Absolutely NO PETS and NO SMOKING!!!!Also, we don't have cameras like many places. Enjoy the amazing scenery and famous hiking trails. Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake are within minutes of the Condo along with several excellent fly-fishing streams/rivers. There are over 500 miles of ATV trails. During the winter there is great snow for snowmobiling and sledding, and at Brian Head Summer and Ski resort you can take in GREAT skiing or snowboarding. During the summer, enjoy the beautiful wild flowers and wildlife. You are sure to see Deer and Turkey abound! Horseback riding is also available in the village.This cozy and very clean Condo is furnished with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay.
