I was so excited to stay at Camakila. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. It is advertised as a family-friendly hotel but it really isn't. There is no children's playground, and the kids club is a small box room at reception made for toddlers. This hotel is great for couples and singles who don't want to spend much time in the resort. The pool in the center of the hotel is small and has 5 deck chairs. The others are in a passageway in front of people's rooms. The other pool is connected to a bar area up a steep set of stairs overlooking the beach and has approx 15 deck chairs. There are loads of stairs in this hotel, and they are all different heights, which caused a couple of trips for my 4 year old and parents in their 60's. The hotel has 4 levels and only one lift that is very slow and won't take more than two people at a time. I had requested two rooms with double beds but was given one double and two singles. They fixed it by pushing the beds together, which meant there was a gap down the middle, and it was difficult to access the lights and power points. We unfortunately also had bed linens with blood stains. Overall, the communal areas looked nice, but the rooms felt rundown and really not as clean as they should be in this price bracket. The breakfast was average. We stayed for two nights and forfeited the last three and booked another hotel as this one really wasn't for us.

Lebhafte Lage mit vielen Bars und Geschäften in der Umgebung. Sehr freundliches Personal, Anmerkungen zu den Räumen wurden freundlich aufgenommen und uns wurde entgegengekommen. Aktuell ist bei den hinteren Zimmern die Baustelle eines anderen Hotels zu hören.

Had a great holiday once again (our 6th at Away Bali Legion Camakila) staff are magnificent and very helpful from reception staff to all the breakfast staff, waiters, room attendants and even the guys who clean around the pool area, they are all very polite and all attempt to speak English and do a very good job at it. A special thanks to a few special staff who go beyond are Suki, Anita and ‘g’day (not his real name) who always remember your name and make you feel so welcome. We would recommend this Resort to anyone.

Gema our room attendant from Away Camakila Legian Resort is fantastic friendly great service with a smile always & helpful to all our needs & requests. Amazing art towel decoration daily changed , today was a lizard. I highly recommended a stay at this gorgeous resort. Lovely big pools & garden to relax on lounge chairs. Breakfast has a great selection with lots of choices from fresh fruits to varired cooked eggs & great Barrista coffee. All welcome to experience a relaxing holiday here in Bali Legian.

We love the Camakila all the staff were wonderful. We loved the breakfast and the pool and everybody was fantastic and I would highly recommend to stay here and we will be coming back and Anita on reception was extra special. K and so was Anita and Ogek Thank you so much.

The staff were unbelievable, from the check in staff to the bar and breakfast staff, nothing was to hard and they all went that extra mile to assist . The customer service lady, desk at the front of the lobby, organised early breakfast and even our room to be made up to celebrate our anniversary, I have not had better service Thankyou

Ideal location 1 minute walk from Legian beach ;-) and close to numerous shops and local activities. 2 nice swimming pools available with sunbeds. Great staff always looking for the best service. I enjoyed the breakfast. One note in regards to the SPA booking. great massage!!! howevere do not book after 6pm... we can hear the music from the other hotels and the beach... not helpful to relax. Great stay overall. Thank you!

We stayed here with friends last week in Rooms 1305 and 1306 . The reception and lobby area is lovely and check in was simple and quick . All food and drinks purchased during our stay was very well priced and beautifully presented and tasted great . I liked that there was no extra charges if wanting room service , which is available 24/7 The breakfast buffet was continuously restocked with lots of variety . Enjoyed the cappuccinos and egg station. All staff were polite, friendly and offered wonderful service . Thanks for a relaxing trip and looking forward to returning

3 older sisters on holiday together.. booked a suite which was rather disappointing but the staff were amazing in rectifying the situation to make our stay very happy. Especially Suci, the guest services manager couldn’t do enough for us. We moved to a much quieter part of hotel with 2 double interconnected rooms. Dessa and Donny outstanding staff members too. The beach bar and small pool were very nice. Maybe the description of the ‘complete kitchen’ needs changing on the website.. it is only a small microwave and fridge, no sink even!

Amazing family friendly hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I got sick while I was there but the restaurant manager on the day was very caring. She made a special tea for me which was soothing. Nothing like a home made remedy huh. Thank you so much Suci
