Deze vakantie hebben wij op 6 verschillende locaties gelogeerd, maar dit hotel springt er uit. Wij houden van de klassieke traditionele Balinese stijl eb dat is precies wat je hier vind. Meerdere cottage met beneden en boven twee royale kamers. Voor wie westerse strakheid en precisie zoekt is aan het verkeerde adres, maar dat is juist de charme van dit hotel. Alle cottages staan in een werkelijk prachtige en goed onderhouden tuin, 's avonds fraai verlicht. De kamer is groot met een hemelbed inclusief klamboe. TV met internationale zenders, ook BVN. Het zwembad is fijn maar in het hoogseizoen met veel gasten waarschijnlijk te klein. Goed restaurant met zeer schappelijke prijzen. Ook in dit hotel uitermate vriendelijk personeel. Het strand is direct om de hoek aan het eind van de weg (100 mtr). Ligbedden kan je overal huren, er zijn leuke strandtentjes. In de andere richting begint direct de winkelstraat met tal van toko's, mini-supermarktjes, restaurantjes en ATM. Fijn adres dus, de moeite waard om nog eens terug te komen!

At some point in the past I guess I stopped noticing Puri Cendana as I passed by - it’s been there forever, hiding in plain sight. I sometimes stay at the budget chains nearby when I want to stay in Seminyak - for cleanliness and convenience more than anything else. This time, curiosity got the better of me when I unexpectedly found myself at a loose end for a week. I spent it at Puri Cendana and I’m really glad I did. For the same price, you get a room (with a balcony or terrace) four times the size in a traditional building. Housekeeping did a great job keeping it clean and neat during my stay. The aircon was perfect, the TV had international news channels and there was a fridge/kettle/hot drinks/water. Also a mosquito net if you wanted it. You also get breakfast, beautiful gardens and a neat swimming pool with loungers (some of which are a sun trap after 11am). The staff were lovely. So friendly and helpful. It felt like a family business. Restaurant food was good, and the on-site masseur was amazing. As good as anyone. Location-wise, it couldn’t be in a better position. Two minutes to the beach, two minutes to a busy street but in a quiet spot in between the two. If you are happy to stay in an older property (the room was good enough but the bathroom would benefit from a makeover), you couldn’t choose better. In short, it’s a hidden gem.

A nice place to stay, nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and nice. It is a very busy area so there was always a lot going on, the street leads to the beach, a short walk away. Handy to shops and restaurants. It would have been better if people weren’t allowed to smoke cigarettes in the restaurant and around the pool where families with children were. The pool was a nice area and I heard the massages were great there. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

The first time I stepped into the reception - I was a little hesitant - but it disappeared immediately with the friendliness of the hotel staff. spacious and clean rooms and a super large bath tub welcomed us. super strategic location only 5 minutes walk to seminyak beach and surrounded by restaurants and shopping places. recommendations for travelers with large families at very reasonable prices

Best professional massage ever! Women are fabulous..lovely ..Quiet. From the tip of your toes to the top of of your head..absolutely best massage i’ve had in Bali IDR 140,000. Yes you can get cheaper on beach..but not like this.

We wanted a traditional stay in Bali and we definitely got it. The rooms are on the older side but we couldn’t fault the comfort and size. The staff were wonderful. And the surrounding grounds are just beautiful. The pool, spa treatments & restaurant were great. Would happily stay there again.

Très bon établissement Personnel sympathique et efficace Chambre agréable, un peu sombre mais grande, salle de bain bien également. Hôtel bien entretenu. Espace restaurant/piscine sympathique et petit dej qui était très bon! A 5min à pied de la plage
