巖礁旅館(Rock'n Reef)

Par quoi commencer … j’aurais dû lire les autres commentaires négatifs car ils ressemblent finalement à notre expérience! J’ai payé 193€ la nuit pour un hôtel qui n’a pas de porte d’accès juste un simple sentier sale et étroit en bord de falaise non balisé non éclairé puis il faut ensuite descendre ou monter 100 marches de 70cm de hauts ! Il s’agit d’un dénivelé énorme qui correspond à une très bonne rando avec les bagages cela aurait pu être amusant mais c’est juste ultra dangereux. Si vous comptez explorer les alentours c’est juste impossible de sortir et de revenir à votre chambre. J ai donc fini par faire une crise d’asthme et j’ai du fuir l’hôtel… la direction n’a pas voulu me rembourser les nuitées non effectuées cela n’est pas la première fois visiblement c’est bien que leur politique n’est pas correct et que ce sont des voleurs même en cas de problème de santé il n’y aura personne pour vous! Le seul point d’eau un petit bassin était vert et non fonctionnel. Les chambre sales avec des prises qui se défont dû murs aucune insonorisation j’ai entendu des ébats, des enfants qui pleurent et bien d’autres choses, le personnel est juste exploités et mangent a même le sol derrière le comptoir… je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de tester la nourriture mais tout ce que je peux dire c’est que Bali est l endroit où l’on sait accueillir les gens et surtout avec des choses adaptés à la clientèle. Rien n’est propre rien n’est fait pour que l’hôtel reste en bon état et la volonté de l’établissement est bien de prendre uniquement votre argent. J’aurais honte de tenir un établissement pareil. J’ai honte que ce soit des français qui le tienne car cela reflète un mauvais état d’esprit de notre pays au balinais, sincèrement il y a tellement plus beau plus bon et plus accessible comme logement à moindre prix! Fuyez juste fuyez c est le pire moment de mon séjour en 3 semaines sur Bali !

We only stayed for 2 days but we greatly enjoyed it. The location is very private and we ad ocean views from every point in the hotel. sitting to lunch or have dinner overlooking the sea was magnificent. The food was nice and the service was very good. I had a massage with Putu and it was really good, the best I had in Bali. We would like to return to stay for more days. Valentine, the hotel manager is very friendly and great to chat and share experiences. You need to be aware of the steps you have to walk to arrive at the hotel. some travel agents don't tell you. There is a phone booth at the beginning of the steps where you can call the hotel and they will come over and help you with your luggage. The steps are a bit tiring but nothing too hard and it is all worthy when you arrive at the open lobby and see the spectacular view. The beach is a bit small during high tides but you can still use it. At low tide, you can walk to nearby bars and a beach where you can learn how to surf and is packed with foreigners, has a bar and somewhere to eat.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Upon arrival to rock n reef I was informed that my room had no power and there was no certainty it would be getting fixed that day. After waiting in reception for a couple hours we had to find an alternative accommodation option. We were then informed we won’t be receiving a refund although this problem was the hotels and no fault of our own. They are now not returning my messages. Do not stay here at all costs, cancel your bookings with them asap, very unprofessional management.

Yes the steps are not very holiday friendly-but were better thank we expected and we went up and down a few times. The rooms are just what you need. The location is second to none. Stop at the shop before you head down as although the hotel has everything you need for obvious reasons there isnt a huge variety. Cant wait to go back
