Stay here for one night only with family (2 adults and 2 kids), we were expecting that this hotel is still in good shape and performance, but you can't expect too much. The security guard was very attentive to helping our bags. The lobby is quite spacious with wooden ornament, and the Receptionist looks fresh but very quiet. No small talk, just asking about the reservation and disclaimer, fine for smoking in a non-smoking room, fine if the keycard is lost, etc. I only get 1 key, going up to the room (connecting room), and voila! The room is narrow and looks poor. The sheer curtain has torn, and I took the picture as proof to show them it was torn the first time, not because of my toddlers. Connecting door latch looks like a public toilet kind of latch. How come, the 4-star hotel uses this latch model in their connecting doors??? Then I asked for one more key, they give me the bad condition one, it's not supposed to give to the guest anymore. It has split in two but they held it together with cello tape. It crossed my mind to just throw it on purpose because the key is really not suitable for guests. The bathroom is narrow, and the bath towels are very poor! So many stains on it. The only way you can differ between the bath towels and the bathmat is the size. View from the room is a half-plane runway and half zinc roof, very unattractive. TV channels are not clean, unenjoyable bed, the carpet needs to replace, please. It's all worn. My best comment would be to the AC, hotels cold! The breakfast experience was not very memorable. No greeter who usually asked for your room number, Resto was spacious but looked empty. The food stall was so-so, but the waffle was tasty! They only served one egg for one portion of sunny-side-up (two eggs usually in other hotels). The Staff was just busy doing their stuff, no communication with the guests, no offers, no chit-chat, making my husband and I wondered 'this restaurant might have just been hit by a zombie attack?'. Very quiet. No cheerful or friendly a**osphere. The swimming pool is nice and shady with plants and trees surrounding, fit for you and your kids during afternoon or morning swim. This hotel is just 6 years old but very disappointed. The Hotel Management really needs to do recovery.
