There are limited access round the hotel area, only 1 or 2 restaurants & the Sovereign Hill

Good to have car parking next to hotel room. Quiet and peace hotel environment. Food is good.

Bigger room compare with other motel around. The whole area likes a resort style accomodations. Very close to Souverign hill tourist area.

The cleaning of the bathroom was not to any hotel’s standard. Ive stayed for 4 nights in the upgraded room paying $210 per night for the room. The first 2 days when I returned to my room in at night, the drain in the shower still have lots of hair trapped on the drain cover, and the bin in the bathroom was not emptied. This didn’t happen just for one day, it happened for 2 consecutive days. I called the receptionist and told her the room was not cleaned properly, she managed to send a housekeeper girl to my room who ended up contaminated my room with her muddy shoes. This young cleaner also was not trained in dumping used disposable gloves. She attempted to touched the door handle with gloves which she just used to clean the drain and bin! This is below Accor standard and not something I expected from a well known hotel brand.

The rooms are in bad need of upgrading. Damaged furniture and generally not appealing. Bathrooms are dated, mildew in mould, broken, cracked tiles.

Love this place. But they need the fix retractable blind over entance door. Otherwise the whole place is impressive

The property is dated and needs an update, particularly the beds and bathroom, reception is the host modern party of the hotel. Staff were very helpful. The bed on ones in room 14 is sunken down so much, it’s so uncomfortable. The bathroom needs an update. Please get the cleaners to remove all the cobwebs and dust in the bathrooms For the price their better options in Ballarat.

Staff very friendly, clear and concise in direction and help. Cleanliness and housekeeping have let the property down however overall.
