The cottage we stayed in was really cozy and had everything one need for a stay in Ballito (even a small kitchen). The ocean view from the little private deck was awesome. The pool is nice to have on a hot day although the ocean is just a stone throw away. We loved our stay in Ballito!

I had an amazing stay at Zuider Zee! I only spent one evening for a work function nearby but wish I stayed longer. Everything is kept incredibly neat, clean and cozy. Gavin was an excellent host and took the time to accommodate my difficult schedule with checking in. I felt very safe even though I was a solo traveller and I was surprised how close it was to the beach.

The owner was super friendly and helpful, even did some washing for us and hung it up. Nice view to the sea. Kitchen has everything. Rooms are clean but some paint and varnish is needed. All slept well.

A little gem hidden away in Salt Rock with great hosts, lovely gardens and a great sea view. Tucked away from the hussle and bustle of the main road. Would definitely return

Excellent hospitality. I had the best few days . The location is perfect . The views are amazing clean place with the best host. I felt right at home away from home. I would go back everytime I need to stay in salt rock .

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner Gavin is a very nice person. We got a lot of help during our short stay. The place is tranquil and it was perfect for us as we came for a race in Durban and did not spend too much time in Ballito but will come back to stay more on another occasion.
