I stayed at this hotel for 11 days. I didn't know much about this hotel before I stayed there and I didn't have an option either since the company that I'm working for arranged for the stay. So let me list out some pros and cons of staying at this place Pros: 1) Location: This hotel is quite ideally located for people who are working in one of the several companies in and around RMZ Ecoworld. If you're staying here, you don't have to worry about Bengaluru traffic while on your way to work in RMZ Ecoworld. 2) Helpful housekeeping and Restaurant staff: The housekeeping staff is very helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The restaurant staff are also accommodative. Cons: 1) Front desk/Reception staff: The staff at the reception are some of the most ill-trained, ill-mannered reception staff that I've ever encountered in a hotel of this size. They have an air of superiority and they talk down to the guests at the hotel as if they are doing the guests a favor by listening to them. This is especially true of the staff manning the reception desk during the afternoon to early evening hours. 2) Peculiar/ strange rules: The management of this hotel has some strange rules. I'll give a few examples i) Water bottles: The hotel provides every room with 1 - 1.5 ltr. of bottled water daily. Since I didn't want to dispose off plastic water bottles daily due to environmental reasons, I requested the reception desk staff to provide me with a jug filled with filtered water. To my astonishment, they refused to entertain this request and said that they'll provide only bottled water. It was the housekeeping staff who helped me out later by refilling the water bottles that I had consumed. ii) No knives: The hotel doesn't provide knives/scissors to cut fruits that the guest may have purchased. In fact they said that knives are not allowed inside the rooms and didn't give an specific reason for this rule. iii) Full payment in case of early checkout: In case you happen to checkout earlier than planned, the hotel will charge you for the entire booking period. They charged me for 13 days even though I had stayed for only 11 days. Tip of people planning to stay here: 1) Don't bother talking to the reception staff. They won't help you and are a waste of your time. If you need help call the housekeeping staff. 2) Plan your stay well. If you checkout early, the hotel will charge you for the entire booking period. I am a repeat customer and am always impressed at their immaculate service and diligent hospitality. The team is responsive and my stay with them fits jn nicely with my requirements.
