I genuinely welcome every guest's feedback in a constructive manner as this helps me and my team to constantly reflect on our service offerings and look at ways to continuously look at ways to further enhance our customer satisfaction.However, I understand that your recent stay was not to your expectation as you have left some belonging back in April and was not able to retrieve them on this occasion. I sincerely empathize with your feelings and humbly apologize for any disappointment caused. Naturally, I have called for an investigation and understand that while your original stay was in March 2025, our team has proactively contacted you to inform about your belonging left behind and, have been informed by your good self that you will return to the hotel in April 2025 to collect the belonging, which was carefully stored by our Housekeeping in the "Lost & Found" for you to collect back. However, as nobody came in April and there was no further communication or information as to when you may come to collect your belonging, our team followed the Lost & Found policy to store the item for 6-months (which was already beyond the standard 3 months for such items). After 6 months and without any claim, as per our standard policy, the item was removed from the Lost & Found and donated to the local charity. I understand that this was not your expectations, nevertheless, please understand that the hotel team has taken the appropriate steps to retain the item for our collection for more than the reasonable timeline, but without any further communication from your end, our team had to follow the standard procedures to discard long-term stored items.
