Travelodge by Wyndham Banning CA Near Casino/Outlet Mall

This is a $200 place to sleep, as long as you don’t mind sharing with the roaches. Overall just nasty in every way possible. I give it zero stars.

It was supposed to be a non smoking room but the room smelled of cigarettes' smoke. In fact, even the smoke detector was out of its socket, unplugged and into a drawer. Also the lights of the sink area did not work. The sound proofing of the room was horrible. The room carried the freeway's sound as if we were in the middle of the freeway. Impossible to get a good night sleep.

Arrived close to midnight. Room seem decent. You could head road traffic just as load with door closed or open. Wife was woken up close to 5am with huge roach crawling on her. Look at doot area gap under entry door was close to 1inch bugs crawled out door once light was turned on. Curtains full of burn marks even though hotel is non smoking. Got dressed and let front desk know. Woman in front desk said I needed to talk to manager and I needed to call Sunday through Thursday. That, that was all I could do.

The receptionist was very nice and sweet! The location of the hotel is not ideal as you’ll hear trains and cars throughout the night. The walls are also very thin. Lastly, whenever someone flushes in the complex, the toilets make noise. There is some furniture with cloth that has water stains… probably just best to remove it altogether. Bed and restroom were clean.

The room was good. It was clean. The overall appearance wasn’t nice. The worst thing is I had a medical emergency and they would not refund my second night stay!! They said it was because I booked through *******. I tried to call ******* and couldn’t get through. The Travelodge in Banning Ca. took my credit card. They still wouldn’t refund my charges. Not happy with whole’s experience but I am alive. That is good. I won’t use either services again.

Room was very smelly. It was supposed to be non-smoking but it’s smelled like smokers have lived there. Couldn’t sleep especially after turning on AC. It smelled even worse.
