das Hotel liegt in Reichweite der Innenstadt, kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Haus, Indoorpool und Whirlpool waren inklusive, Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war nicht sehr groß, die Qualität vom Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Hotel verfügt auch über ein Restaurant und einer Bar. Da unser Zimmer kurz nach dem Bezug einen Wasserschaden hatte, wurden wir sofort auf ein höherwertigeres Zimmer umgebucht. Wir hatten einen Safe, Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, Balkon sowie ein getrenntes Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. Sehr guter Schlafkomfort.

According to expectations My stay in Dixon hotel was according to my expectations as I was qlreqdy in this hotel few years ago so I knew what to expect.

Too bad my expectations were higher Unfortunately the stay was way worse than expected. Of course, no one expects the decorative pillows to be super clean, but white stains?! Waiters, lady at the bar and a receptionist expecting a baby are super friendly. Rest of the personnel were not really glad to visitors. The toilet seat was not even assembled properly and it was detached from the floor. The soap dispenser had hair of a person who shaved there ages before. Bar furniture has holes all over. It's a pity to spend hours driving and pay quite a price and get this level of service. Hotel was renovated with EU funding, but it seems that large amount of money went to a wrong pocket.

Bathroom was a bit oudated and you could not buy basic toilleteries from reception.

Do not trust the four stars. Upon arrival we learned that spa water was cold because the nearby lake was open for swimming. Not what the voucher promised. 15 minutes’ waiting for hot water for tea during breakfast did not improve our mood either.

First let me say I stay in hotels all over the world frequently and different countries have different standards. Front desk staff was great for check in and check out. Room was large and clean even if dated. Tennis tournament going on next door but was enjoyable to watch from balcony. Breakfast coffee was very good, but food options were very limited. Seemed to be low season there as everything was closed or on limited hrs. If restaurant didn't have customers, they just closed. Maid service for room seemed to be every other day as I stayed 3 nights and they cleaned once. I would of preferred a shower instead of a handheld shower head standing in the tub. All in all, staff was great and not a bad stay.

The room was not clean someone had used the bathroom prior to my arrival and pissed all over the toilet seat. The do not disturb sign was ignored and 100 euro was taken while i was out. The door to the room would only close after shutting the door hard when i arrived to my room.for the first time the door was open. The room was littered with bugs.

The last review was written almost two years ago but sadly nothing seems to have improved since then and I can only endorse the almost universal negative reviews that have appeared in the last five years. - No AC... which is madness in central European summer time. - No small fans until the second day. We had a group of 80 booked (woring on a sports event nearby) and the hotel only had a small number of fans upon arrival. The hotel apparently bought some more (how many, I don't know) and I was fortunately to get one but other people missed out and went and bought their own from the nearby mall. - My room was not serviced on two of the six days I was there. ("We have new staff," was the excuse.) - My room had stained carpet and chipped furniture. - Fridge which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. - Big accumulation of dust whenever the bed or furniture was moved... which had to be done as there was only one available electricty socket - The wifi (and I was on the second floor, not somewhere high) had no working wifi for most of the six days I had to stay there. - No hotel laundry service.... again a general requirement at a 4* hotel. - Bar not open after 9pm... so closed by the time we got back from the event! - Indifferant staff with the EXCEPTION of one receptionist who did her best to resolve things in a pleasant way. Clearly, this is a hotel that is in need of a major overhaul, in terms of management to start with. Certainlty not a 4*, more like a 2*.
