We would advise travellers to seek alternative accommodation in Bar Harbor. The receptionist was surly and unaccommodating. The bed was prized between two walls with little room to get on and off. The mattress was old with a severe dip in the middle, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The breakfast offering was at best middling.

The room was spacious and beautiful! We loved the fireplace and the balcony. The only thing that we would have liked more is if there had been a smart TV.

Beautiful Setting. Very walkable area. Rent E-Bikes at Bar Harbor Bicycle and ride the Carriage Roads.

We stayed here for 4 days. Our first impression was how great the hotel is and staff was very nice. Gianni was great, he gave us a tour of the hotel, walked us to our room. The room was wonderful, updated, spacious and bed was so comfortable. We had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The kitchen was very nice, they put out a huge spread for breakfast like muffins, coffee, danish, cereal, tea. The dining was very nice and relaxing, where they had computer if needed. This hotel thought of everything. We will stay here again. The location was amazing, very close to everything in Downtown Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this hotel.

Good location to explore Bar Harbor. We were unaware of other rooms but our room was “grubby” with dirt marks on the outside of the fridge and the fridge seal was dirty. Whilst bed was comfortable it didn’t half creak so the bedstead either needs fixing or replacing. The AC unit was antique and needs replacing for one that is external to the room as the one in our room was the size of an aircraft carrier (slight exaggeration) and very noisy. In fact we could hear the unit from upstairs when ours was off! So the positives were Hannah on reception, the communal areas and the porch plus the breakfasts. Location is also very good as downtown BH is within 5 minutes walk.

We enjoyed our time at Queen Anns Revenge and the staff were kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily.

This is a unique property converted from a house and nicely appointed and furnished. Great sea legends and tallship, nautical theme throughout with gold accents instead of traditional navy and white.

The hotel itself was in a great location for walking around town, however, the staff was not super friendly. I’d also like to point out that I have noticed whenever I book thru ********** I receive the room in the noisiest location. In this case, we were across from the bar and underneath the stairs. Try to avoid room #18 if you want a good night’s sleep(forget about an afternoon nap with the bar open). Also the bathroom was extremely small. Disappointed especially since it was on the pricey side.
