甘杜塞爾公寓(Isabella's House)

Isabellas House in Barcelona war für unsere Familie, bestehend aus meinem Mann, meinem 13-jährigen Sohn und mir, ein gemischtes Erlebnis. Positiv: Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ruhigeren Gegend, abseits des Massentourismus, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Dank der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gelangt man jedoch schnell in die Innenstadt. Unser Zimmer war ansprechend und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Verfügbarkeit von kostenlosem WLAN war praktisch. Wir hatten auch eine kleine Küche mit Kühlschrank, Herd, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine, was uns die Möglichkeit gab, uns selbst zu versorgen. Das Frühstück, das wir separat gebucht haben, bot eine gute Auswahl an Optionen, darunter Kaffee, Tee, frischer Saft, Müsli, Joghurt, Rührei und Speck, Käse, S*****en, gekochte Eier, Obstsalat und süße Teilchen. Im Hotel gibt es auch ein Restaurant, obwohl wir es nicht genutzt haben. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung war ein Pluspunkt. Negativ: Leider entsprachen die Zimmer nicht ganz den Erwartungen, die wir auf der Hotelwebsite hatten. Einige Möbel zeigten deutliche Abnutzungserscheinungen. Im Badezimmer über der Badewanne löste sich die Decke ab und es gab Schimmelflecken. Die Silikonfugen in der Wanne und die Fliesen zeigten Abnutzungserscheinungen und Schäden. Zudem waren die schwarzen Armaturen anfällig für Kalkflecken. Hier besteht dringender Renovierungsbedarf. Preislich fanden wir das Hotel im Verhältnis zu den Mängeln nicht angemessen. Für einen Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten inklusive Frühstück zahlten wir fast 1000€. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden, da wir den Großteil des Tages außerhalb des Hotels unterwegs waren und es hauptsächlich zum Schlafen genutzt haben.

I was very disappointed in my family's recent stay. Most maddeningly, the internet does not work at all in many bedrooms, and none of the staff seemed interested in fixing the situation – unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. Many other small things went wrong, and the hotel seemed uninterested in keeping us happy. Our refrigerator broke down twice, and even though repairmen were called both times, having to throw out food and wait days without refrigeration was a major inconvenience in a place where kitchen access is a major draw. Nobody offered, for instance, to store our items for us. One of our suites had no detergent and sponges. We were told that they'd never run out before and had no idea what to do: "It's unprecedented!" A more professional hotel would have sent someone down to the store to buy the missing items, which we did ourselves. Likewise, when we ran out of paper towels and asked for more, we were told that only one roll is provided per stay. Considering how much food we had to throw out because the refrigerator didn't work, and how many thousands of dollars we spent booking 2 suites for 10 days, it was petty. We arrived to a bathtub suite when we'd booked a shower suite for accessibility reasons, and they were able to switch us – but it was an annoying and stressful arrival. For this price, you have better options in Barcelona.

Fantastic location if you’re looking for somewhere blissfully quiet at night time and away from the crowds, but with public transport a five minute walk away to the metro which will get you into the city centre in 10 minutes. Big comfortable beds, lovely clean linen, beds made up every day, a great hot shower, a basic kitchenette for fixing breakfast or even dinner if you’re so minded. Has a juicer which was handy given there’s a grocery store nearby selling fresh oranges. The store also has a wide range of food stuffs and even a modest wine selection. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and has very good, reasonably priced Italian food. The other big plus is the service with reception staff sup efficient and friendly. Check in is easy and the staff are very helpful with tips and info. On the downside, the furnishings are looking very tired and the bathrooms really need to be redone bc they are starting to look grubby even though they might be quite clean. The manager told us they are in the process of doing this. Once done this will be much more of a 4 star boutique hotel, but until then you’ll need to overlook the shabbiness and just enjoy the benefits of being in a quiet but convenient location,

여행하기 매우 좋은위치(지하철역, 버스)가깝습니다. 근처 1km반경내 식당도 좋습니다. 숙박시설은 방2개인 독채아파트 형태인데 깨끗하고 편리합니다. 단지 창문으로 들어오는 소음(오토바이,차량)소리가 크게 들리는데, 밤12시 이후는 괜찮은편입니다

We loved Isabella’s house! International clientele and staff spoke English. Charming building. We stayed in the penthouse and had an amazing view, plenty of space and a small kitchen with a microwave, espresso coffee pod machine, and dishwasher. Beds were comfortable. The spacious balcony was the perfect place for breakfast. Great location in a lovely neighborhoods close to restaurants, bakeries, and bars. Walkable to the Gothic quarter, but it’s 2-3 miles. We had a great meal at Isabel’s Restaurant on the first floor.

Enjoyed our stay at Isabella's house. The apartments are clean and functional, as well as giving a sense of "home". Staff is very kind and helpful, and their restaurant on the base floor has the best Italian dinners. The area surrounding gives a sense of being in the city while also being in a more quiet residential area. Very close to the park and easy to get downtown.

Full apartment amenities in a clean, quiet, safe neighborhood that was out of the tourist area. I got a feel for how the residents of the city live. We easily could walk to affordable bakeries and restaurants, or buy groceries and use the small kitchen. Walk to the metro was short, and just a few stops to Plaza Catalunya. I liked our stay here much more than the hotel we stayed at on Las Ramblas just a few days later, with graffiti and homeless beggars.

4 people in one of the apartment for 3 nights. After 2 showers water was cold because we discovered, later, that the hot water had limited volume in a heating tank. For 1 day the room was not maden. Position is fine

This was an ideal alternative to booking a twin room. We had separate rooms and a kitchen etc. Location was a little outside the centre but with good transport links and everything was walkable as well. Staff were really helpful the whole time we were there. Would recommend staying here to anyone.
