哥特式海梅一世艾恩B酒店(Ainb Gothic-Jaume I Apartments)

La posizione è perfetta sia per girare a piedi che per girare in Metro, la stazione della metro è a pochi passi. Non c’è la reception, perciò il check-in lo si fa da sè seguendo le indicazioni che dovrebbero arrivare per E-Mail. Noi no avevamo ricevuto nessuna indicazione per email e abbiamo chiamato il numero di riferimento. Il servizio per telefono è stato in grado di aiutarci e il check-in si è svolto poi senza problemi. La camera è così come si vede nelle foto, arredamento ci è piaciuto molto, la cucina è dotata di microonde, bollitore per l’acqua, mini frigo, macchina per il caffè, posate e pentole. La camera era abbastanza pulita ma il bagno avrebbe avuto bisogno di un po‘ più attenzione. Scarsi prodotti per il bagno, consiglierei di prendersi i propri prodotti per la doccia o di comprare qualcosa localmente. Per il resto ci siamo trovate molto bene e la vista dalla camera non è niente male 😊

Die Unterkunft war zwar sehr hübsch, aber manche Fenster hatten ausschließlich nur Holzfensterläden keine Scheiben, wodurch es teilweise extrem kalt war. Die Heizung hat leider nicht funktioniert und weitere Decken gab es nicht. Ins Haus kommt man ausschließlich nur durch Zusenden eines Codes, ohne Schlüssel, was es sehr umständlich gemacht hat rein zu kommen, da der Code teilweise nicht funktioniert hat und ich immer wieder die zuständige Person kontaktieren musste, die nicht verfügbar war. Dadurch ging echt viel Zeit verloren und ohne Handy konnte man so auch nicht das Zimmer verlassen. Es gab keine Gepäckverstau-Möglichkeiten weswegen wir nochmal zum 300m entfernten Hostel laufen und dort Geld ausgeben mussten. Klopapier war nicht ausreichend da, mussten wir nachkaufen weil niemand nachsortiert hat. Im Bad war an der Decke Schimmel. Zentrale Lage toll.

Très déçu, déjà à l’arrivée, de monter au-moins 4 étages dans un escalier en colimaçon, très étroit, avec nos valises de 20 kg, c’est tout un exploit! Arrivée à une minuscule chambre, sans rangement et manquant de différents équipements! Je ne recommande pas cet endroit, surtout très dispendieux!

Des escaliers abrupt et exigu ne pemet pas de les escalader aisément. Au 3 e étage c’était la contrainte de trop. Je leur ai demande de me changer d’étage car ma compagne souffre de probleme articulaire mais aucune réponse. Vers la fin de mon séjour une coupure de courant qui a duré plus de 4 heures !!! Des appels incessant sans résultats surtout que c’était passé par un dimanche soir !!! Il nous ont envoyé quelqu’un qui nous a fait déménager dans un studio un étage plus bas.

Studio propre et fonctionnel dans une petite ruelle à côté des grandes avenues et à 20 min à pied de la plage. Très sécurisé, peu de bruit et une climatisation ! L’eau manque de pression mais c’est bien le seul (petit) inconvénient de cet hébergement !

Sin duda lo mejor de estos apartamentos es la localización. En el baño se salía el agua de la ducha dejándolo todo mojado. Las ventanas no cerraban bien. La puerta no se podía cerrar desde fuera. Y el contacto con ellos es difícil en sábado y domingo, llamamos y nos lo cogió una persona que estaba durmiendo porque había trabajado durante la noche sin darnos otro número al que llamar.

Apartment was great. Stairs was murder. The areas they suggest to store your suitcase do not exist. But there are a few around. Just hard to find. They offer early check-in. But there is no such thing you cannot enter the property until exactly 3 o’clock. Otherwise very amazing place. I would recommend it to anyone that can handle stairs

The building is in an amazing location. Right in the Gothic Quarter, maybe 15 minute gentle walk to Las Ramblas and all of the amazing restaurants in El Born. The apartment itself was spotless, a good size and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately the management company really lets it down. We arrived in Barcelona at 3pm and after a speedy airport transfer arrived at the building within half an hour. We didn’t get into our apartment until about 7-7:30pm due to the complete lack of communication from our hosts. The building is keypad/ app entry. There is nobody there to meet you. We received no communication ahead of our arrival as to what we should expect, no door code, no room number. Nothing. There’s a couple of phone numbers on the side of the building. We tried these several times to no response. Luckily, we had booked our stay through Love Holidays who helped us get to the bottom of the situation. We were put on high priority as we literally couldn’t get in the building! Eventually, after several attempts from LH, they managed to get into contact with the building management. We were given a door code. Excellent. We got into the lobby! Then after much back and forth we told them we still didn’t know what room we were supposed to be in or how to even enter. Then after a few hours Ainb got in touch with us, asked us to pay the local taxes and upon proof will send over room details. We got all of that, used the keypad on the apartment door (there’s also an app you can use but that didn’t work for us) and got into our room. As mentioned above, the room was clean, the bed comfy and I guess it was well enough equipped. Our room was a little rough round the edges- plug socket in the bathroom was left on the counter rather than in the wall where it should be, the laminate flooring wasn’t laid properly (gaps between each slat), bedside lamps didn’t work, the oven (which looked brand new!) didn’t work either.. I absolutely loved Barcelona and I want to return, but I just wouldn’t stay here again. Not only is Ainb completely disorganised and can’t send check in information in advance, they just don’t seem to care about upkeeping the place.
