艾勒裏酒店(The Ellery Hotel)

I booked this hotel room for 2 nights for the 4th for about $500 a night. I brought my teenager with me. We were checking in late, so I called and got an OpenKey which was convenient. We arrived around 9pm. There was no staff at all, and all the outside doors were wide open and unlocked. The decor was very outdated and it gave off a very seedy vibe. The room was tiny and stuffy. The decor consisted of high heels with flowers in them on the wall. We went out for a bit and came back. There was a lot of activity and people, and who knows who they were or if they were even booked there or just wandered in off the street? I locked the room door but was very nervous staying there with my 16 year old. It seemed the kind of place people who wanted to stay anonymous would frequent. There were zero amenities. We ended up going home a night early. It was seriously the sketchiest place I've been. I tried to contact staff to at least get part of the $1000 back that I spent to stay in that hell hole, but no one returned my calls but I was told to write a review in a standard email so here it is. As a matter of fact, I didn't see one staff person the entire time we were there.

Used to love staying at Carpe Diem, and I can definitely say the Ellery has maintained all the charm and amenities of the old name. We were slated to stay at the Waterford Inn but an issue with the room required us to change hotels at the last minute, the staff was attentive to every need we had and made sure our stay was amazing! Will definitely be back!

My partner and I stayed during the Halloween “Spooky Bear” weekend and found the Ellery to be very charming. We especially enjoyed the outdoor set up - the space is nicely decorated and features many spots to sit and relax. I was also a fan of the fall decor that helped make the space feel more festive.

I have been staying regularly at the Ellery (formerly Carpe Diem) at least once or twice a year as I have family in the area. This trip was for my marriage.I was initially concerned when I saw the mixed reviews following a change in ownership. Amy (manager) was so nice and helpful and did everything possible to make it a great experience (we were married on the property). Some of my family arrived later in the evening (we had 5 rooms in total), so she made sure they could retrieve their keys and everything was in order. I will definitely stay here for my next visit.

A very enjoyable stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Very nice and cheese and wine hour. Room was comfortable and well appointed.

The team is amazing our first day we the manager opening up the spa around 7am and invited us right in she turned on the sauna and steam room showing how to reset the timer and steam if we wanted another go at it. We were here with another couple over Halloween. The Halloween decorations were a bit on the cheap side except for the gourds and pumpkins. Those looked great the wired puppy was great though when we booked we were promised breakfast at far land. Denise explained and apologized and she and sean put out a great cheese and wine spread with jams, crackers, traditional and speciality cheeses. This was our first return since the carpe diem, the furnishings we impressive but not as much as the service. We told Denise this was our first return since carpe and she took us on a mini tour and reminded us about wine and cheese. They noticed us drinking moscato and Sean and Denise left a bottle in our fridge with a nice note and business card. There was a little something going on in one of the upper level rooms where the handle and,or lock fell out. But she and sean didn't leave that room for a second. Denise waited for a locksmith how you all found a locksmith on Halloween Saturday must have cost a fortune. But I was very glad to see you all put the guest first reading all the previous reviews. We almost didn't come after reading so many bad reviews. We will be back for Holly Folly Denise gave us her card and told us to call her direct and she would let us know what the plans are. The Ellery Hotel was a joy to stay with on our trip to Provincetown, MA. Clean, sleek, comfortable rooms , an attentive a friendly staff. The little touches like the wine and cheese afternoons and spa sauna and steam were delightful. Its central location is perfect for a quick walk to all the sites and far enough away to be quiet and relaxed . I will definitely stay here again and will look for their other locations when traveling . Book today you won’t be disappointed!!!

Enjoyed the ambiance very much, great meditation space in the interior garden. Standard room was adequate to good , however the bathroom was very tight, and a disappointment. Would like to mention Elaine, and especially Shawn, both were cordial and helpful , Shawn and I interacted repeatedly during my stay, and was always more than willing to help with any need I had.
