巴德望VV酒店(V V Hotel Battambang)

High standard accommodation with great interiors. The hotel room is very spacious and the fit and finishes are excellent. Worth the money to stay here.

The location of the hotel is quite central, direkt next to the market and only a few steps away from the river. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast is recommendable. Good coffee and delicious Asian breakfast. The Rooftopbar is impressive, with a fantastic overview over the city.

We had a little trouble trying to find the hotel as the location given in the map is incorrect. Luckily our local tuk tuk driver was able to converse with the front desk and quickly brought us to the hotel. We have since wrote in to Google maps to update the hotel location. The hotel is pretty new, rooms are very clean and the stay was pleasant. The hotel is the tallest building in the vicinity, and they have an infinity edge swimming pool and a nice skybar where guest can drink and enjoy music provided by a DJ and live singer. Service is really good, waitress went out of the way to satisfy our request, and all service crew were very polite. The breakfast spread was quite good, we totally enjoyed it.

I spent more than an hour to find this hotel though I've been staying in Battambang for more than 3 years. No one can find this hotel on the Google map or the map provided by the hotel, because they're wrong. This hotel is actually located adjacent to the central market, the tallest building around there, the main entrance is hidden on the left side of the building, very small and unappealing, the hotel lobby/reception is on the 3/F, there is a tiny swimming pool and a sky bar on 13/F, the restaurant is on the 2/F. On the 1/F and G/F, which is occupied by a domestic bank. This is a new hotel with new style of decoration but only for business travellers, not for family relaxation. The breakfast buffet is great but the hotel services and operation standard need to be improved.

The room is very nice and staffs are friendly

Our room was ok except that it would take a while for it to cool down. Breakfast was supposed to be a buffet. However, there was hardly anything to eat, mostly eggs and Porridge. The general feelings in the breakfast room was the same. Room was overpriced. Staffs were not professional and were not accommodating. Staff uniforms look old and weary and suit someone who may work at a guesthouse and not at a $70 to $80 usd a night hotel. Overall, I would do not recommend this place to a friend and I was quite disappointed.
