Our hostess was very helpful and attentive. The place is walkable and convenient to the museums and restaurants.

This is a bed and breakfast in the host's home. We had the superior double room with a view of the cathedral. It made a wonderful base for our tours of the D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel and the town of Bayeux. Mireille is a friendly host who works hard to make your stay enjoyable. She did our laundry for us and made sure we had breakfast before heading out for site seeing each morning.

It was an amazing experience, the place is marvelous, the host is the best person I have seen in years, very very friendly and mindful. She is the reason our stay was so good. Would definitely come back and recommend to the whole world!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Mireille went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her breakfasts were amazing. The superior double room has a beautiful view of the Bayeux Cathedral. Everything within Bayeux...the tapestry, the Cathedral, the restaurants...is within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

We were so impressed!!!! My husband, my in laws and 2 other couples all stayed so comfortably and were showered with superb hospitality. Our Hostess, Mireille, took us to breakfast each morning to her daughters hotel around the corner (an old schoolhouse). Such history to actually live in! We stayed 6 days/nights. Such PATRIOTISM for American-French connection! Each morning our hostess had the guys hold the American and French flags as each national anthem was played. The Normandy countrymen and women love Americans and are soooo thankful for the liberation of France with the allies. We saw about 3-4 sites each day and witnessed their own special Medieval Festival the weekend we were there. What a perfect trip, and the weather was excellent. We would love to return here someday. Our stay was outstanding. Our host was so thoughtful and accommodating to our young baby. She made us a beautiful breakfast and the room was so nice! The room was large, has plenty of space for a baby bed and a nice shower. Our room even had a view of the cathedral! The house was small with just a few rooms and plenty of space to hang out around the home. The location was great. Just a three minute walk to the center of town, but down a side street so not loud at all. When we go back to visit Bayeux we will absolutely stay here. There was free parking right outside, airco in the room, and lots of maps of nearby things to do. The tapestry was also right down the street.Highly, highly recommended staying here!

The stay at Friendly Home Bayeux was fantastic. The hostess was very friendly and very helpful in all respects. The hostess met us at the train station and drove us around to see the town and to the hotel and back to the train station when on the final day we left Bayeux for Paris. The hostess drove us to important tourist attractions in the area, Omaha Beach cemetary, the Overlord museum and the town of Port-en-Bessin-Huppain. The room was very clean and spacieuos and the beds were very splendid. The garden was beautiful and the souroundings wonderful. The town has three very interesting museums, Musée de la Tapisserie de Bayeux, Museum of the Battle of Normandy, Museum of Art and History Baron Gerard. The hostess helped finding a shop to buy a new recharger to my iPhone for the one I had accidentaly lost on the plane. All in all a very pleasant stay at Friendly Home Bayeux. Great!

It was within walking distance of the Bayeux hospital. The owner was very nice.
