Booking a room at Cuthbert House Inn for our recent road trip was the best decision we made. What a fabulous place to stay in beautiful Beaufort. From the warm and friendly welcome we received to the spotless and well equipped bedroom, we couldn't have asked for more. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed the 'social hour' when we were able to meet other guests for a chat. It was lovely to meet with the owners, who obviously take immense pride and care in their business. All the hotel staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming. Beaufort is a pretty little town and very walkable. We would return without hesitation.

We spent two nights at the Cuthbert House and it was brilliant. The owners and all staff are wonderful. The bedroom, bathroom & living room were great and well sized. In room coffee and fridge with complementary soda. M&M’s plus teas & coffee available and light snacks. Breakfast was wonderful. Beds very comfortable. Shower excellent.

The Cuthbert Inn has successfully undergone a renovation, and the public and private rooms reflect comfort , style and period pieces with great attention to detail. The room I stayed in was the Federal room, had beautiful water views and access to a front porch. The modern bathroom was equipped with all the amenities one could hope for. Social hour had a wonderful spread of chef inspired delicious bites and a chance to meet other guests in numerous public rooms. During the course of our stay, there was always beverage, snack and other treats available. The morning brought a wonderful coffee and tea bar that included fruit and pastries. The chef made custom breakfast bowls and many other options were also available. The welcoming staff was always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, and generally pamper us in multiple ways. No detail was overlooked during our stay. Im already planning next year's trip!

My husband and I really enjoyed the Cuthbert House. Robert and Karen and the entire staff were wonderful! It’s a beautiful place to stay. We have stayed there twice now and will definitely come again. We really appreciate the pet friendly rooms!

We were greeted by Robert whom graciously escorted us to our room and acquainted us with our beautifully appointed room. Comfort, style and tradition beautifully mesh in the lovely federal room that has a clean, large bathroom. Social hour with drinks and excellent hot tidbits was a nice way to meet and mingle with others. Evening nightcap a nice touch.Breakfast in the sunroom was a delight. Parking in the rear of building a plus.

Every person on staff did his or her job with excellence. Each was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with whatever we needed. The inn was spotless; everywhere we looked appeared to be recently painted. Our room was lovely; the bathroom was wonderfully spacious. Everything was clean to the point of being pristine. We enjoyed each morning’s continental breakfast—yogurt, fruit, breads, cereal; and the daily hot offering was delicious and very nicely prepared. The grounds were well-maintained, and the waterfront view lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to walk into town to restaurants and shops. Everything about our stay was wonderful; highly recommended!

The Cuthbert House provided a wonderful base for our exploration of the Beaufort area. The Inn is beautiful inside and out. We loved the front porch and view. Our room was great with a fridge, comfy bed, sitting area, and nice bathroom. The staff was friendly, helpful, and charming. The breakfast, snacks, and wine reception were excellent. We decided to spend a day at Hunting Island State Park and the Inn provided beach chairs, blankets, and a park pass. They also provide complimentary snacks, water, and soft drinks throughout the day. The Cuthbert House did not disappoint. It was a lovely two night stay.

We really loved staying at the Cuthbert house! We would rate it a 10! The best part of the stay was the staff, Matt, Karen, Suzanne and I think the chef was Elizabeth, all did an outstanding service to all the residents! I will definitely recommend people to stay with you all! The history of the house was a nice part of the stay as well. The decorative touches throughout the house were spot on! Great job!

Do not consider any other inn in Beaufort! I’ve stayed at each of the inns in Beaufort, and the Cuthbert surpasses them all. Completely new interiors, retaining all of the charm of the inn’s history, with service befitting the finest Broad Street Charleston establishment. Centrally located, with hosts who can curate a Beaufort experience that will stay with you for years to come. “Good people, these,” a Southerner’s highest compliment.

Very welcoming from the moment we arrived.. Cuthbert House is immaculately clean and well presented ..could not fault anything at all. Our room was perfect ,bathroom spacious..bed very comfortable..breakfast with fresh fruit ,yoghurt ,cereals pastries and cooked options gave plenty of choice for everyone. Cannot rate the staff highly enough and the owners also.

My husband and I recently spent the weekend at Cuthbert House for our anniversary. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful! The rooms have been recently remodeled and are very comfortable, clean, and inviting. The owner and staff were amazingly kind. The location is perfect for walking into town to enjoy beautiful Beaufort. We had a great time and highly recommend! We will be back!

Phenomenal experience. We have stayed in lots of high end hotels/B&B’s world wide and the Cuthbert House rates in top tier! Accommodations, staff, owners, everything! We WILL be back!….just a short drive for us from Kiawah Island, so when we just need a little “getaway”, we know where we will stay!

My wife and I have always loved the Cuthbert House Inn but we have been away for five year out of the country. Coming back to the inn was a delightful surprise. Totally renovated and new staff it was a marvelous vacation. Karen, Matt, Robert and Lori went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Beaufort is our go to get away city. We will now get away more often.

We are happy to share our 10 Star (not 5 star) experience with you. Our stay at the Cuthbert House was extraordinary. From the time of our reservation, to our arrival, stay and departure, we experienced top notch service. Our concierge, Karen was wonderful. She made excellent restaurant recommendations as well as nearby sites to visit. she also booked us an amazing carriage tour (we highly recommend doing this)! Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We loved the afternoon reception with delicious appetizers/wine and really enjoyed the time with Suzanne. She and her husband are just lovely as were all of the guests staying there. Our room was beautiful! The bed and pillows were so comfortable and we had a lovely view of the water. If you don't have a room with a water view, don't be concerned as the Cuthbert House has two very comfortable front porches with a direct view of the water. We can't say enough about this beautiful historic home. The renovations are spectacular & it is meticulously maintained. (We should also mention that this was our first time visiting Beaufort & we loved it. Please do yourself a favor and visit this sweet town and of course stay at the Cuthbert House)! The breakfasts were fabulous - fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, pastries, juice, specially brewed coffee & a hot item. The best part of our meal was talking with Karen (our concierge) and Suzanne (our host). they truly treated us like family. the worst part of our stay was having to bid goodbye, but we will definitely be back!
