Excellent stop over on our road trip back to the Cape. Very efficient online booking and pleasantly surprised when we arrive to find this recently renovated heritage hotel. Very secure car par. Very friendly welcome. Lovely spacious room and comfy bed. Went to Joes Diner for diner. Good food and excellent service. Staff were efficient and helpful. Highly recommended

A great experience from beginning to end. I arrived just after 9 at night and the welcome I received was terrific. Although it was a few minutes after the diner kitchen closed, they made a special plan for dinner- and they even gave me 3 different options! I had requested the most basic and simple room as I was just staying overnight for the JHB to Cape Town route. I was given room 47 which was small but very clean, modern and really well maintained. The bed and pillows were comfy with good thread count sheets. Parking was safe and enclosed with a Guard and CCTV. All the staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming
