It did the job! The hotel is a bit overpriced for what it has to offer and is located in the gas station parking lot. It’s a good stay if you need to be in the area though and the staff was friendly!

Prima hotel voor een kort verblijf in Engeland. Wij waren hier voor een bruiloft en zijn er 2 nachten geweest. 4 personen ( 2x 1 persponsbed en 1x 2 persoonsbed). Kamer voorzien van een kast, bureau en tv. Badkamer voorzien een bad met douche. (Handdoeken ook aanwezig). Er is geen airco maar wel een kleine ventilator op de kamer. Er is jammer genoeg geen koelkastje. Wel.kam je is er een waterkoker aanwezig. Er is voldoende parkeerplek alleen mag het wel eens opnieuw geasfalteerd worden er zitten dikke kuilen in de weg. Naast het 1 minuut lopen zit een Burger King en een Greggs hier kan je makkelijk wat eten. Greggs is al vroeg open om 5 uur AM. Er zit ook een benzinestation. Het hotel heeft per dag een half uur gratis WiFi of je moet betalen. Weinig stopcontacten.

I used this as a stopover from Lincoln to Guildford as I had to be in Guildford mid morning and didn't fancy a really early start in icy conditions. So easy to get to from the main road, very pleasant receptionist who was helpful. Surprisingly quiet room, considering how close this is to the road - I wasn't aware of it at all. All the usual simple comforts, perfect for a night's stop, and would be handy for longer if you needed to be nearby. Parking right on the doorstep and a handy service station next to it for essential supplies. What's not to like?

Poor experience overall. The area is busy, noisy, and poorly lit. There's pot holes all over the car park, leading to a lack of safety when trying to park and walk in. There's a broken vending machine in reception, on which they've placed a sign stating there will be no refunds if used in error. Stayed for 3 nights, and the debris I noted on the carpet in the corridor behind reception never got cleaned up. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean, but it's impossible to sleep well with all the noise outside. There's a 24 hr fuel station right next to the hotel, which of course invites a lot of traffic, but also means the staff use the tannoy through the night to communicate with patrons. The bathroom urgently needs repairs; the toilet itself was unstable on the floor and moved on contact. The flooring was peeling away from the edges. The room itself is basic, although there were multiple rips in the upholstery of the only chair. Be aware that there are no bedside sockets, and only maybe 2 other sockets in the room. Bring extension cables, and try not to trip on them. Our bin never got emptied, towels changed, stock replenished etc once during our stay. The heater in our room had a lock on it, with no instructions on how to unlock it. This meant we had to have the windows open to counter the heat, but also meant the external noise was even more disturbing. On walking into reception on our third day, a staff member abruptly asked if we had already checked in. There was no courtesy or welcome; just irritation that she might have to go behind the desk to check us in. Charging for WiFi is ridiculously outdated, this is bare minimum, surely? Thankfully the mobile signal was good so I could use my hot-spot. There are very few hotels - at least budget hotels - in the area, and we needed to be as close as possible to Flitwick. Therefore, we had very little option but to stay here, or prepare to travel further/pay for luxury hotels. I expect this is why they get away with failing to even provide bare minimum service. Yes it was cheap - although still overpriced for what they provide - but it was not cheerful.

We stayed one night here after meeting with family. It was everything a Travelodge should be - good quality, but without anything pretentious. The room was, perhaps, a little bit tired - the worst bit was a big crack in the bathroom sink. However, the service was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again, if it be needed

room was filthy mold and paint peeling from skirting boards and door frames, net curtains not been cleaned a crack running from below the window to the floor, mold around bath extracter vent looked like it had not been cleened in years. when booking this does not tell you there is a petrol garage directly opposit hotel so all night constant cars lorries pulling up to fill up with fuel there is also a comunication mast the constantly emmits a high pitched sound, take my advise avoid this place

Was concerned having read previous reviews… The location was convenient as we were at a wedding at the nearby manor, 10 min walk, 3 mins in car. Having read the reviews I took an extension lead and I did need it as there no plug sockets near the beds. Bathroom poor…old, mouldy, standing in shower feels like you will go through the bath, shower doesn’t seem attached properly, not a great experience. Rest of bathroom dated, flooring coming away, door didn’t shut, needs a lot of attention. Bedroom side units ground in dirt. I was at the rear of the hotel and noise was not an issue, very little noise in hotel guests seemed respectful of others. Receptionist on arrival was pleasant, lad on Saturday morning didn’t appear to know what he was doing and I found he was quite unhelpful when friends where trying to see if they could pay on arrival to get in early. This hotel is very conveniently placed but I wouldn’t return.

No one on reception for an hour to collect breakfast box as ordered - only staff member to me she was too busy - had 30 bedrooms to clean and "I'm 9 months pregnant" - I'll get it when I am finished. Really awful attitude and customer service - would NOT recommend

Best TL I've stayed at. Great sound proofing and it was very clean. I also appreciated the Burger King so close by. I don't usually allow myself BK or fast food but I made an exception and it was lovely! There was an issue with my shower in that it sounded like an aeroplane taking off and I felt very sorry for anyone who had to listen to it at 6am on a Monday morning, but the shower itself was lovely and warm and had great water pressure. Also, it's important to note that there weren't nearly enough plug sockets, and they were miles away from the beds but that can be remedied by bringing an extension lead (as long as you know this in advance - hence my review title!) Overall it was a very pleasent stay and I will be booking again for next time I need to go to the office.

Not the best site 😕 But the kindness and service given there was great and nothing was too much. Great stay, thank you guts at Marston Mortaine

Very tatty,old, Travelodge building off motorway. 25 mins drive to Bedford. Car park full of pot holes which must have been there for years. Dangerous to park & walk in dark. Complained to Reception, told me they had reported the problem. Room & bathroom clean, stale smelling hall ways. No restaurant, Greggs cafe/Burgerking & petrol station on site. Greggs cafe with dirty uncleared tables, although not busy. Two small multisex toilet compartments in an equally small room Coffee so bad had to throw it away. When I complained about Travelodge, Receptionist said they were waiting for an upgrade. She gave me an 0800 nber to.complain to, which rang the otherside of the reception glass screen! What was the point of me speaking into a phone to.complain instead of speaking to receptionist through the glass screen! The other number she provided which was on website said call failed each time I tried to ring it. Only one hand towel in room, asked for 2nd hand towel, told they only supply one & do not supply towel bath mats to stand on when getting out of bath shower/bath. Only had one mug/spoon in room had to ask for 2nd mug & spoon. We have travelled from Spain to attend a bank Holiday dance weekend & very disappointed with Travelodge. Stayed at Travelodge Bedford Heights last year, much better hotel Tried to change hotel but customer service number is not answered. We have used Travelodge hotels all over UK in the past, will definitely not be using a Travelodge for our dance experience next year!

I wrongly thought that Travelodge had gone up in the world (judging by the adverts) but alas not this one! It was very basic considering how much it cost for two nights! Failed to top up supplies and missing a hand towel and bath mat but no one hardly on reception to get this resolved. Mattress well worn so dipped in the middle which caused back ache! Had to wait nearly 15 mins when we arrived to check in as no one on reception. No apology either for making us wait! It was 4pm with check in starting from 3pm.

Hotel could do with a refurb - number 15 room toilet isn’t secure to the floor so moves when sat on and lights are quite dull. Ok for the price paid.

The whole property is incredibly dated, the staff didn't seem to care about anything and the room had a smell. The matress on the bed seemed uneven. Do yourself a favour book into somewhere else
