Fantastic stay Great breakfast lovely rooms and staff. Highly recommend

Very nice, helpful, English speaking staff. The hotel is in a great location if you’re in Beirut for the tourism or the nightlife. If you’re booking, do bear in mind that it’s got somewhat of a hostel vibe(even though it is a proper hotel) and if you’re looking for a place with lots of amenities you might not be as happy. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Beirut and will stay here again when I return.

La chambre était superbe !!! Le lit était si confortable !!! Notre petit balcon était un vrai bonheur pour sentir l énergie de la rue et juste face aux célèbres escaliers. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. Le bar est génial 👍 J aime bq qu il soit ouvert sur la rue Les cocktails sont délicieux et les serveurs au top!

Chambre très agréable, joliment décorée et cosi. Literie très confortable, chambre très propre. Équipe très sympathique, très professionnelle et un bon service. Hôtel très bien situé et très bonne ambiance le soir. Congrats.

I grew up in Beirut as a child. As an American, I went to Elementary School, High School and The American University Of Beirut while my family lived here. I am now in my early 70s and I return regularly to vacation. There was a time that I stayed in the large luxury hotels, such as The Four Seasons. The problem with these hotels is that they have nothing to do with the pulse of Beirut. Beirut is it's people and their energy, their passion. My friends suggested I look into this adorable boutique hotel in the heart of Gemmayzee, and I will never stay anywhere else. I will be returning in April 2026 and I have already booked my reservation. I book a room above Gouraud Street and the street is alive with people eating and socializing at the many restaurants. There are stores for shopping and outdoor coffee shops and beautiful couples walking up and down the street. It is considered the "Hip" area of Beirut, much like Hamra Street was 50 years ago. Unfortunately Hamra is a run down section of Beirut now. I greatly encourage you to check out The Hotel Lost. To stay anywhere else in Beirut is to miss the beauty of the Lebanese People.

Lovely and unforgettable Very good hotel in a perfect location to explore Gemmayzeh, Mar Michael, downtown and walking around. Charming and unforgettable view from the balcony in front of the stairs. It was a perfect choice for the first days of my fourth visit to Beirut.
