The management at this hotel is completely incapable and has actively ignored my many attempts to contact (calls, emails and opened a case with IHG) regarding a terrible experience checking out of the hotel. I was hoping to let management know what had occurred apparently they don't care to know. It’s completely unprofessional and ridiculous to ignore a guest trying to reach out. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you would like to be treated with respect or receive any customer service at all. With so many other options in the area, I will never stay here again and will never recommend a hotel who ignores their own guests. Other than that the stay was not great. The room smelled like mold from the heating/cooling unit, the refrigerator/freezer smelled like something died inside of it, the water reeked of chlorine and dried our skin out all week. There was many random items throughout the hotel room from the previous stay (soda bottles, charging wires and pennies on the ground) that indicated these rooms are not cleaned very well at all. The only redeeming quality would be that it does have a kitchen which can save you money on a longer stay but so do other hotels. Pay attention to what room you booked and where they put you as well. When we checked in they tried putting us in a queen bed room when our booking was for a king. I went to the desk and asked if maybe a mistake was made and if that room was a queen or king. I was told “I dont know” then gave me keys to a new room and basically was told to go check if thats the right room. Probably one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had with the cherry on top of terrible nonexistent customer service!

AC didn’t work, fridge in the room was as loud as a generator, no toilet paper, didn’t clean the room or refresh towels during multiple day visit. Lots of little things broken in the room, tub wasn’t clean on check in. Called front desk for towels and housekeeping and they told us to come to the front desk and ask for the items we need. Staff have bad attitudes at the front desk. The whole hotel smells like ****.

I have been here with my company for over 5 months I had to deal with hot water issues never hot just warm water. I complain about the aunts nothing was done about it I found black mold by the tub still nothing was done about it. When it come to cleaning and housekeeping is horrible I keep my own room clean cause they don’t do a single thing just make the bed up that’s all. They don’t have the right size sheets for the beds I have a king size bed with a full size bedspread on it smh every time I ask we don’t have any we got to order some I’m completely sure the health department would take auction on this for it is against there laws to run a business with black mold and can make people sick and even the hot water I have been taken pics keeping documents of my stay I wish I could leave this hotel but my company paid for us to stay even after we addressed our management about the mold

Excellent staff. Courteous and respectful. Manager is a doll. Caters to every customer’s needs. Rooms are immaculate. Best hotel coffee I’ve ever had not to mention mini store to buy food is awesome. Especially when you need something to eat at 5AM. Just a great place altogether.

Thank you. For my stay of over a year. Staff were always helpful and accommodating. Pet friendly hotel. Free laundry and dryer machines, saved me a lot of money. Snacks and drinks are always available. In a great location. I had no issues or problems with my stay.

Excellent service from Ms. Lashelle at the front desk. She was very helpful in getting a matter taken care of. She was very pleasant and always greeted me with a beautiful smile. Room was very cleaned and had a great smell. Thank you Ms. Lashelle for making me feel welcomed.

Excellent staff, clean rooms that come with great kitchen set ups! Check in was super easy and simple. Not far from Ripken baseball complex. Also has a nice swimming pool and gym. The Candlewood will have everything you need wether it’s a one night stay or a week long stay.

The room was immaculate it had kitchenette with a huge refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. There are alot of great restaurants and a shopping center nearby. The pool is where i spent most of my days i would definitely stay here again.

Booked with this hotel every month for military stays and they have really good pricing and amazing service. I never had one bad experience with this hotel and they never fail to provide rooms for my military groups. I appreciate them for all their help.

If you are doing work at APG, it is conveniently in the middle. I travel for work 345 days a year and this motel has some of the best beds I have slept in. As an long term stay, my room is cleaned every week and is nice to come home to an immaculate room. ALL the staff is friendly and attentive to the needs of their guests. The rooms are nicely furnished for extended stays if you enjoy your own cooking and there are restaurants and grocery shopping close.

Let me start by saying wow, just wow. This hotel is not like any other hotel I have stayed at. Not only is it clean but the staff there are very respectful. I noticed when we walked in they greeted us at the front desk and throughout my whole stay. I even went to go take a shower and noticed my husband and I may need extra towels so I went downstairs and asked for an extra towel and the young lady brought out four and asked me was this enough? Any other hotel I have stayed at it is so frustrating having to explain why I may need one extra towel and this hotel had no issue with making sure I was comfortable and had more than enough things I needed. I am just blown away how great this place was. Will make sure to come back again !

I travel a lot and stay in many hotels and by far this was incredible! The staff was professional and kind. The entire experience was beyond what I’ve recently experienced and at reasonable price. The room was not only clean and crisp it was comfortable. I’d recommend CANDLEWOOD over holiday inn and the Hilton in a minute! Great Job and I’ll be back soon

I had the pleasure of staying at this property last month while in town for work and can't say enough nice things. For starters, the staff is so incredibly nice and attentive. The check-in experience was smooth and hassle free. Also, the rooms are recently renovated and are very cozy. The bed was so comfortable! The pool was great and I really enjoyed the gas grills right next to the gazebo. So much more convenient than having to go out and buy charcoal, lighter fluid, etc. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

We booked a room with 2 queen beds on ******* at the non refundable rate because I was traveling with my 15 year old son. On arrival we were told they were sold out and only had a room with one King bed. I'm already not happy. The desk lady was nice and said she would see if she could find us a roll away bed. We accept her offer but she said she would have to look for one, so no promises. We get to the room. It's hot and smells like garbage. Walk over to the thermostat and it said 81 degrees and in less than 10 minutes it said 83 degrees. Cooling system is unresponsive and blowing hot air. We go back down to the desk. There's no one from maintenance working. They said someone may be here in about 45 minutes, it's already around 9 o'clock at night. I ask about the roll away bed and am told by the lady at the front desk she hasn't had a chance to go look for one. So...it's after 9 at night...promised a roll away bed but not seeing one...promised someone "may" show up in 45 minutes to "maybe" fix the air conditioner. I didn't get a chance to talk about the garbage smell in the room BEFORE we left and drove home. A total waste of $188.18. Here's my opinion. We booked using the non-refundable rate through *******. I think the scam is for the hotel to NOT make good on the deal (2 queen beds) by putting those folks in the hot garbage smelling room that wasn't what you booked. If you have a beef with that call ******* about your non-refundable rate...I wish you a lot of luck! Bottomline, do not stay at this hotel! Room 213 doesn't have the 2 queen beds you booked on *******, is about 83 degrees, and smells like hot garbage! All facts!

Have never had a bad stay. We stop every year on way to Florida. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The parking lot is well lit and it seems very safe. My husband dropped a thumb drive last year and they shipped it to us! It is hard to find a reasonable pet friendly hotel and this is a good one.
