哈德斯菲爾德民宿(Ashfield Bed & Breakfast)

Excellent service and hospitality!

DON'T STAY HERE. I arrived here to a freezing room, they had to get me 2 eletric heaters to get the room warm, there is no heat in the ensuit and the room smells damp. Its now 7am I have been awake since 5.30am as some one is praying loudly it's impossible to sleep. I just spoke to the lady owner who I believe is from India or near by and she refuses to ask them to be quiet this is gisgraceful. I stay away regularly every couple of weeks with work and I've never had to put up with such awful conditions. As in other reviews I see people complaining about the cold and the musty damp smell (which I only notice when I come back to the room). Disgraceful property with no respect for people staying.

Micheal 迎接我們的是一個多麼可愛的地方，他把我們的箱子帶到了我們的房間，他解釋了所有東西的位置和早餐時間，請注意這是歐陸式早餐，但他們有很多選擇，甚至是煮雞蛋，房間大小合適，床非常好舒適，淋浴很棒。甚至在著陸時提供茶和咖啡。我唯一的不滿是衣櫃很小，就像你在兒童房裡的那種，但它有很多衣架，我們把衣服掛在窗欄上，所以不是問題，位置很完美真的很安靜很親切我們會在今年晚些時候回來

Meet Michael when I checked in Saturday evening around 6pm if found him not to be friendly I was checked into room no 2 it was a spacious room it had a double and single bed and the room was cold I felt the radiators and they were lukewarm I had to take the duvet cover off the single bed to keep me warm. I went down to the breakfast room for 8am and pump into Michael and he told me just help yourself and he disappeared I discovered I wasn’t going to be served a cooked breakfast and this wasn’t explained to me when I checked in I had to served myself with a continental breakfast as Michael wasn’t around to explain to me. Overall I have traveled all over the world and stayed in various hotels and B&B this is the worst experience I had I will certainly not be returning here again and will not be recommending this B&B to my friends.

My friend and I stayed one night, Michael greeted us warmly and nothing was too much trouble. Check in was smooth, he showed us to our room and explained everything. Breakfast was a DIY affair, plenty of choice and he was there throughout filling things up. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend the Ashfield B&B and would book again. There is a bus stop outside that takes you into the City £2.20 each. A taxi is £11, one way. A great location, close to City Airport ( George Best).

I chose this B&B based on location as potentially in walking distance from the airport. As it was 3 star, I didn’t have high expectations other than being clean, comfortable and welcoming. Michael was very friendly and helpful regards recommending a taxi firm and providing towels for my stay. However, I walked to a local supermarket to pick up some food, beverages and returned to my room, no 2. Although the heating had been on, it’s obviously controlled centrally and I was freezing, remaining in my coat for the entire evening. As the bathroom radiator was off, it was too cold to consider a shower. The bedding felt and smelt ‘grubby’, on closer inspection, I revealed the state of the pillow I was expected to sleep on. I have never seen anything quite so disgusting so I discarded it on to the floor as the pillow liner was also grubby. I did not wish to get into the bed and lay on my coat, partly covered by a grubby ‘throw’. When I plugged my phone in, I had to pull the bedside cabinet forward and noticed a face mask on the floor. Needless to say, I won’t be using this venue ever again, sorry.

This little gem was quite a surprise. Quiet, classy and very clean. It’s well cared for. The beds and linens were top knotch.

A hidden gem in East Belfast. I have driven past this establishment many times and decided to chose it as it was close to Belfast City Airport. And I had sold my house as I was moving abroad to retire and needed a short term place to stay. The B&B is clean, rooms are warm and comfortable as are the beds, hot shower was always available in the morning and although the breakfast is continental it does set you up for the day. Thoroughly enjoyable stay would highly recommend
