This place was gorgeous! My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom with our best friends for the week, the location was great as we could walk to White Bay or Great Harbor, and the hills were great exercise and with the views :) We loved every second and would highly recommend. Very clean, perfect weather and Karen couldn’t have been nicer! Great to work with and helped us get everything sorted, she must have answered 100 questions from us before and during the trip. If you’re looking for an awesome place to stay for a great rate, this is it!!

Ocean View Villas was perfectly situated on the top of the hill overlooking Great Harbor one way, and White Bay the other. We rented a 1 bedroom. It was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Karen was easy to work with, and returned my emails promptly. She was very friendly!

Karen and Nigel are gracious hosts that go above and beyond. They have created a relaxing, welcoming home for your stay. Words that come to mind : Convenient but feels remote, breathtaking views (high enough to look into the bay but still feel connected to the action), extra extra clean and immaculate, perfect house layout, caring hosts, luxurious, concrete-walled quietness, safe and secure. A true tropical heaven!

Stayed at Ocean View Villa in January 2023. Karen and Nigel were awesome hosts, helping us with transportation, provisions and local recommendations. The 2 bed/2 bath unit was extremely clean and perfectly appointed with all of the comforts of home, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. Our first trip to JVD couldn't have been more perfect, and we can't wait to return to this home away from home.

My husband and I just got back from a week with Karen and Nigel Howel at their Ocean View Villa (OVV) and it was fabulous! Karen and Nigel are the ultimate hosts providing warm hospitality. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean with all the amenities we needed and a million dollar view!! Karen and Nigel are very vested, they built OVV and live there, the property is immaculate and they take care of your every need. I have been in the hotel business for 38 years and these folks know how to do it right! Upon arrival, we realized we would not have enough time to get to the airport for our flight back home with the arrangements we had made. Karen quickly came to the rescue and demanded we not worry about it and she would come up with a solution, and that she did! I suggested we could leave a day early and get to St. John or St. Thomas and she would not see to us cutting our vacation a day short! Karen and Nigel are the kind of people once you meet, you feel as if you have known them for years. We so appreciate everything they did for us and can't wait to visit again!!!!!
