Great Stay with Minor Flaws Really enjoyed our stay at Alona Hotel for what was a last minute booking. Staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again with Bellshill Train Station a 5 min drive away with plenty of parking available there to enjoy the train into Glasgow. We only had a couple of minor issues with our room. Firstly, the outside windows of our room (309) were very dirty and could do with a clean. Lastly, the rainfall shower head wasn't working although the handheld shower was. The water tended to gather at the bottom of the shower which made it very wet but minor complaints really.

Friendly staff, a clean room and a good breakfast, however I had very little sleep on the second night of my stay due to a function taking place that was blasting out loud music and had a very loud voice booming over the sound system until 12:30am I had to leave at 6:30 the following day and this meant I woke extremely tired

We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful time, staff are so helpful and accommodating for anything we needed and friendly. Breakfast was nice and food places in the grounds are also good food my only thing I’d say is I needed more than 2 teabags a day but again could get some from breakfast area. The facilities around the park are amazing especially the waterside as there is a speedboat, pedalos and bumper boats cost £10.90 for all 3. Highly recommend this hotel as it has so much around it to offer to people right on the doorstep
