Booked this Motel for a 2-day golf event in Benalla with my wife. Easy to get to and find just off the main street on the way out of Benalla. PRO'S: Easy access with roomy parking facilities Clean and tidy room with new facilities, bathroom and shower were good. Had a nice comfortable couch. Bed was reasonably new and comfortable, with good pillows. New air conditioner that operated well. Excellent Wi-Fi, very fast, what a shame the TV was a relic! Easy, quick access to the Main Street and shopping area in Benalla CON'S: Advertised as having Foxtel channels but didn't. contacted the manager who just said, ”we don't have Foxtel anymore!” Small, Old television that couldn't accommodate ”casting” from my Foxtel phone app. (This and many other Motels need to modernize their TV sets to Smart TVS so guests can use streaming APPS.) Never saw the Manager or anybody else that worked there for the whole 2 days, although the room was serviced well each day. Rooms faced the street and traffic, especially truck noise, was very loud, at times, especially at night. Overall: Quite a good motel for the price. Would stay there again.

Behind an unprepossessing exterior lies a surprisingly pleasing country motel experience. The room appeared to have been recently renovated: basic, yes, but tastefully done and it really could not have been cleaner. The sheets were crisply laundered, the towels were of a quality you don’t usually find in a motel, the heating was adequate and the shower very satisfactory. The owner was efficient and pleasant.

Checking in late after 8PM was not a problem. reception open until 10PM. Beautiful, clean room that was comfortable and quiet. Perfect for the weary, travelling worker. The coffee van just down the road also made the best breakfast toastie ever! Spot on.
