The room was spotlessly clean and also cozy, with real armchairs to sit in and lamps to read by. The bathroom was small, but well stocked with soaps, towels, hairdryer, etc. We loved all of the art outside and want to come back when it's less snowy, so we can see more of it. The person at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. And we slept wonderfully.

So glad we chose Harwood Hill, so much more than we expected. Give me a homey motel any day over a regular ole hotel! It’s spotless and the staff is wonderful.

This was my third stay over the course of many years, and this motel is always reliable for its comfort, cleanliness, warm welcome and good continental breakfast. I'll be back for sure!

Rooms were awesome, very clean, comfortable beds, and great artwork and design in the room. A truly deep bathtub too! Definitely the place to stay in the Bennington area!

I quickly searched for a last minute one night stay that wasn't a hotel chain. We wanted an updated motel (my husband likes to be able to park the motorcycle outside the door) and this place checked ALL of our boxes. We wanted something quiet, cozy and close to a restaurant as we prefer to walk to and from dinner. This motel was so charming. The continental breakfast was creative and adorable. To our surprise, our economy room had been totally renovated recently and was perfectly comfortable and super cute. I feel so fortunate that we found it and we would absolutely return.
